A new collection of delicious cookie recipes—all for a good cause
In 2007, Gretchen Holt-Witt set the lofty goal of baking and selling 96,000 cookies during the holidays, all in the name of funding research for pediatric cancer, the #1 killer of kids in the United States and the disease her young son was battling. Armed with the determination of a mom on a mission plus the knowledge that funds for research mean more treatment options, better survival rates, and hope for the future, Holt-Witt succeeded in selling all 96,000 cookies and raising over $400,000 for new pediatric cancer treatments.
Soon after, Gretchen and her husband Larry founded Cookies for Kids' Cancer (cookiesforkidscancer.org), a national nonprofit that inspires people to host bake sales of all sizes, from desktops and porches to entire corporations and communities, with some raising more than $100,000 in a day. Gretchen's first book, Cookies for Kids' Cancer Best Bake Sale Cookbook, raised thousands more for pediatric cancer research. All the Good Cookies gathers a mouthwatering collection of recipes that promise to satisfy any cookie craving, with the author's profits again going to the charity.
Features a wealth of cookie recipes, from Raspberry Thumbprints to Boston Cream Whoopie PiesAll of the author's royalties will benefit the charity Cookies for Kids' CancerA follow-up to the successful Cookies for Kids' Cancer Best Bake Sale Cookbook
For anyone who loves baking cookies and making a real difference in the world, Cookies for Kids' Cancer: All the Good Cookies is a perfect way to do both at the same time.

Title: What a great cookbook!
Review: When I received my cookbook, the first thing I did was read through it from cover to cover. I'm a supporter of Cookies for Kids Cancer, and I was excited and inspired, to read the stories of other bake sale hosts across the country. This is really so much more than a cookbook, it's an inspiration book. There are some delicious, unique recipes, and something for everyone, including gluten free, and doggy biscuit recipes as well! For me the book will serve as a "go-to" book for new recipes - for cookies I've never tried to make, as well as an idea book for my next CFKC event. The absolute BEST part of this cookbook, is that the proceeds will go toward funding a clinical trial for pediatric cancer research. The book is a great price, but you really can't put a price tag on saving a child's life. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cookbook, AND CFKC!!!!

Title: This is more than a good cookbook!
Review: Not only is this book full of recipes for delicious cookies, it has a very important recipe to join in the fight against pediatric cancer. Cookies for Kids Cancer was founded Gretchen and her husband, Larry , to provide much needed funding for pediatric cancer research. All author profits go to this amazing organization. The photographs are beautiful and the recipes are easy. There are good ideas for holding bakes sales which is the way to get involved to raise money for pediatric cancer research. I have to do some baking for a Cookies for Kids Cancer Bakesale this weekend in a friend's front yard and I will be using the recipes and ideas!! Please buy this book and help support our children that are fighting cancer.....they need better medicines so that they can live to bake cookies for their children.

Title: Love this Cookbook
Review: One of the best Cookbooks out there. Love the inspirational stories and accompanying photos (I'm the type who likes to see what the finished product will look like). But most of all love the fact that author proceeds go towards fighting pediatric cancer - Why WOULDN'T I get this cookbook over similar ones offered? Can't think of one reason. It's a great one! Naturally, everyone I know has been getting it as a gift. I give it along with the OXO Good Grips Good Cookie Spatula which is also available here on Amazon. Everyone loves this little gift combo!

Title: great book, great cause
Review: As a supporter of Cookies for Kids Cancer I couldn't wait to get my new cookbook in hand! I received it a few days ago and was thrilled! The recipes are easy to follow , many with pictures that make your mouth water! If you are not familiar with Cookies the detail inside will make you a fan and hopefully inspire you to have your own bake sale to benefit this wonderful cause. Great book, even greater cause. A must have for your own kitchen and perhaps a few extras as gifts 🙂

Title: A Cookbook to Hold Onto
Review: Great recipes! I especially loved the oatmeal raisin cookies -- quick, effortless and delicious (and incidentally, this recipe is flour and lactose free). We're all attracted by food that looks tempting, and there are colorful photographs of the finished cookies for most of the recipes. There is even a section called "seriously chocolate" that lives up to its name. And it's an easy cookbook to use because it opens completely flat, like a notebook. All the Good Cookies is a thoughtful gift too (maybe along with a few cookies?) since the book is a money-raiser for cancer research. Along with the recipes there are heart-warming stories about bake sales held for Cookies for Kids' Cancer, and good tips for holding a bake sale that is successful.

The cookbook includes personal stories and talks about the amazing non-profit organization of Cookies for Kids' Cancer. 100% of the proceeds from All the Good Cookies goes toward pediatric cancer research. This is a great gift for your self, friends, and family. Buy one for everybody you know!

Title: Feeling Good Twice Over!
Review: In preparing a "benefit basket" for my Secret Santa gift this year, I included the purchase of this book, since the proceeds went to the Childrens Cancer benefit, and let me tell you, once the book arrived and I checked out the recipes - it is truly a very nice book. I am so glad that I have purchased it - it will make a nice addition to my other gifts that also benefit a charity.

Title: What an amazing book!
Review: This book is not only inspirational, but it also supplies so many yummy cookie recipes. I just made one today and everyone in the house kept coming back for more. There is something in there for everybody. It was also great to see a section specifically for those with allergies. This would be a great gift or anybody who enjoys a good cookie or is holding a bake sale!
