Title: You need this if you love baking cookies!
Review: Let’s get the softballs out of the way….the recipes are great and easy to follow, there are no weird cookies here….every one of these is something your whole family will enjoy, the writing is engaging, warm, approachable, and educational at the same time. If you love Zoe Bakes on TV, she writes a lot like she talks, which is positively delightful.What sets this book apart from other books, is that there is an AMAZING section (Cookie Academy) that is essentially a masterclass on ingredients, equipment , and techniques, and it is incredibly well organized and broken up into logical parts vs droning on in a big long whatever like so many cookbooks do. This section alone is absolute gold, so don’t skip it (even though you can, the recipe instructions are great as well). To take it even further, there are Cookie Academy annotations in each recipe so you can just skip to what’s relevant should you choose. AND each recipe offers the option to measure by weight OR use conventional measures….you heard me right…there’s both!!!This book is not just a great recipe and reference book, but a template for how all cookbooks should organized….hats off to Zoe and her editor!

Title: Chock full of great info to ensure success
Review: I loved her previous book on cakes and this one is just as terrific! So much good info on ingredients, tools and more. The cookie academy is great and makes me more confident re making changes to a recipe. I made the chocolate peanut butter bars which were delicious! My only wish is that the font was bigger especially for the extra information that is in the margins…really hard for me to see even with reading glasses. It’s a great book and definitely recommend it!

Title: Not just a recipe book, it's SO much more.
Review: I made 1 chocolate chip cookie recipe from this book. They were too flat for my liking, however they were the best tasting choc chip cookies I've ever made, not 1 was wasted.Zoe explains how to adjust the recipe to get the consistency you prefer. So I baked a half recipe a few days later & they turned out much more to my preferred texture, yet just as delicious. This book is not just recipes, it's a whole culinary baking class for cookies. I am so glad I purchased it. I have already learned so much from it & I've barely tipped the iceberg. Run don't walk to get your hands on a copy.

Title: Yummy cookies
Review: I have made 2 cookies so far and they were both delicious according to my kids. My kids said the ultimate peanut butter cookies were the best cookie ever. I made the chocolate chip cookies today and my kids said they tasted like something you would get at a coffee shop. Looking forward to reading more tips from this book. The pages are colorful and sturdy. A real win for cookie lovers. I took her advice and froze some cookie dough so I make just a few at a time if I wanted.
