Title: Great product!
Review: I purchased this head lamp for general home use and also to help while performing attic inspections as I work in the pest/rodent control industry. I found this item to be vey helpful while climbing through attics stepping from truss to truss keeping my hands free is a great help (if you've ever crawled through an attic in FL you know exactly what i mean). The fact that this little lightweight headlamp takes 3AAA batteries is a plus, as they are easily available everywhere! You have three modes starting out with a single green LED light, the second push of the top of lamp mounted button gets you two single white LED's, and one more push and your on to the single C-4 or Cree LED bulb with the focused reflector. This is the brightest mode and gives good distance (25ft or so) with a nice hot spot and decent spill. I have several other Streamlight EDC pocket lights that have higher lumen counts and take CR123A's, but this is a nice compromise for max brightness and battery life. StreamLight makes other headlamps that take the CR123A's and I'm sure they are great lights too! If you need the MAX brightness they might just be the light for you. But i highly recommend this for everyday, camping, or attic inspection!

Title: Third one
Review: I've ordered this headlamp three times already and it has served me extremely well for years. The selection of the different beams (green led [24 lumens], white leds [48 lumens], xenon [18 lumens]) really give you options. I've used this headlamp while kayak camping on river trips, lake-hopping adventures and similar outdoor experiences. Super for night fishing, but the batteries will not last forever after multiple nights, so always bring a spare set just in case. Also, keep a pocket knife handy with a screwdriver, as the pivot-head screw will eventually back out. If you're looking for a spot light, for long-distance, this is not the headlamp for you. This light will illuminate well for close work (less than 100 feet), but for long-range, get a spot light or a higher output headlamp.

Title: Awesome light without useless strobe!
Review: Great value and awesome quality. Love that it does not have that totally useless strobe feature! This besides the name brand was the reason I purchased it. Love the green light as I work at night on Aircraft and the regular light is too bright for what I am doing. Green lighting is bright and does not ruin your nightvision. Finally swapped batteries after a few months, (actually I think I messed up and left it on in my backpack), other wise battery life is very good.

Title: Great headlight
Review: I bought this headlight as an all around generic flashligh replacement. I use it when I take the dogs out in the yard at night time, working in the garage, shed, basement at nightime when the overhead lights still doesnt provide enough light. This headlamp works great, fits easy, easy adjustable straps and light postion to allow the light beam to focus very close or further away like when i am walking down the street or on a trial in the woods. Good light intesity for up close jobs but a bit dim for a trail, but still adequate. I usually use the led setting, I find the incandescent setting to be very dim and only use that setting when for some reason when im working on something inside the house and dont want that White glow of the led and prefer a softer light (not often and probably this setting is a waste and not needed). I never use the green setting either, i guess it would be good for "Tactical" or night hunting situaitons for up close lighting without giving away your position or to keep your eyes from needing to readjust to low light conditions when you turn off the light. Switching settings is easy. I use the light almost everyday and the price (paid about 20$) is worth it (seems like the price went up since i bought it about a year ago). Battery life is also very good and uses reguar AAA batteries

Title: Great head lamp
Review: Great head lamp, and so worth the price! Super bright, focused beam. Lower setting and a green light for working without blinding others. I wish the center head strap was removable, but it's very comfortable.

Title: Perfect for night walking , with the green illumination feature.
Review: Almost did not order this, because of negative reviews on the green light, being dim. That is exactly why we like it. We do allot of night walking in the woods. The green light casts just enough light to see the path. But not so much as to blind you, as some super bright lights can. We walk out to feed our nocturnal birds and mammals and it is PERFECT!!

Title: Own three - quality has declined beyond wanting anymore
Review: I bought the first one of these years ago. Quality device. The next one I purchased was an LED and that OK, but in spite of the advance in lighting, the overall quality wasn't as good. I just purchased another and that's it. I'm done with these 61051s. They just keep making them cheaper and cheaper. So done with Streamlight. I own other Fenix devices (headlamps, etc.) and that's what I'll buy from here on out. More expensive but like everything you get what you pay for. Sad. The original was so good for a good price.Importantly, I own Streamlight TLR devices and those have remained rock solid over the years. I use them on firearms which are a much more harder use. Not sure why this particular device has become so bad. I also own Streamlight lanterns which are great. Hope the quality decline doesn't happen to their TLR's and lanterns but it's something I'll keep in mind from here on out.
