Review: These are great alarms. I installed nine on four floors and discovered something you can hopefully avoid. One was false-alarming so I removed it. Then another one alarmed so I removed that one. Then another. Crazy. I finally removed them all and called customer service. Turns out I made a bad connection in one that was triggering false alarms in all the others. So make sure your harness connections are tight so you don’t get voltage leaking from the black to the red wire, as that communicates an alarm to the whole system. Major pain in the *ss, for sure but glad I found it and hope you can avoid the same. They’d could include that in the troubleshooting guide.

Review: Easy to install. No need to buy the adapter harness if you have an older model, attach your existing wire nuts, it's really that easy. Just turn off the power first

Title: REPLACEMENT FOR ONE THAT QUIT WORKING
Review: I purchased this to replace my first alert smoke/carbon monoxide detector that stopped working after 7 years. I am 70 years old and if I can undo the wires and install this new one it is easy to do.Was also happy that the new mounting plate was easily attached.
