Who are we?

Piscifun was founded by Ben and Peter in 2013 out of their strong passion for fishing and family. This passion is also reflected in our company slogan: "Fish with Family."

What does it mean?

"Pisci" means fish in Latin. Piscifun translates to "Fishing is Fun." We want our customers to know that Piscifun is here to make fishing enjoyable and affordable.

Title: Best reel of its kind for the price point hands down!
Review: I have a few of these reels and they really are an incredible bargain for the price point. Carbon drags, strong frame, loud clicker excellent levelwind system. I recommend checking over the reel prior to use and making sure everything is lubricated properly and I put a little blue loctite on the screws.

Title: Quality far above the price!
Review: I was pretty skeptical about buying this reel since the price is so low compared to others with the same specs, but was pleasantly surprised when it came in! This reel is well made and handled a 43 pound Bluecat like it was nothing, nice smooth drag and feels good in the hand.

Title: Good for what it is
Review: This is a value priced baitcaster. I have three of them and one already started acting up less than a year after purchase. We use them very often...several times a month all year round...so more than a lot of reels get used on average. The reel is smooth and the drag is good...initially. They cast well with 30lb mono and have handled some decent sized fish up to 45lbs. I would say if you used a reel two or three times a year and was not terribly hard on your equipment, it's a pretty good deal. They are very valued priced and easy to replace. If you were dipping your toe into the baitcaster pool this would be a good reel to check and see if you like this style of reel. If you were going to buy a reel to teach a beginner the ins and outs of a baitcaster, also this is a good reel for that. The function is good as is the performance...they just don't see to hold up very well and the quality control seems spotty. Bottom line is that it is a cheap reel that functions very well within the parameters I have stated. When you get it, you will be impressed. It is only over time and use does the weak points start to show. I still have two in use...one about 16 months old and they perform OK. You get what you pay for. If you have been using ABUs, these are not a replacement. No matter what you read or what you see on You Tube. For the money, buy a used ABU and get it serviced or clean it and lube it yourself. You may spend a bit more, but you will be happier in the long term.

Title: I've used mine for three years regularly with zero problems on any of them!
Review: It's hard trying to convince someone else to buy something with their money, just because you like it..?🤔 My story is I've got five of them. Three of the 40s and two of the '50s and I use them regularly for catfish for a couple of years now. They're great reels, You've already heard it, it's just the truth they're great reels! Very smooth and they stay smooth over the years. The cast far and smooth as well. You bring in big catfish as they should without any problems. And I've used them for years without any problems on any of them. I just don't know where I can get an equal quality product at the same price for me this is the best real out there for the price. They're definitely worth more than what you're going to be for it. If you pick one up and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have and I hope it's as good to you as mine have been to me! ☝️😎

Title: Nice value and quality
Review: I really like these reels so far. I got 3 of the 60’s l ft hand retrieve. I putt 30ib barley big game mono on it and it casts and reels very smooth. I’m new to baitcasters and have no problems whatsoever casting unless I hit a tree. With 2-3 oz sinkers and 30ib mono I can cast really far. Thumb on spool slightly when the bait first takes off and then just let it fly till it hits the water and stop it. Used them on 3 different occasions already still doing good. I’ve caught about 12 channels and 1 flathead cat. The flathead it was like reeling in a bluegill. I did get snagged and wrapped the line around the counter eight of the reel handle and the line sheared the weight right off. So I suggest wrap your line around a stick or players or something when pulling snags loose. I will update again after I catch more and bigger fish. Very nice product
