Title: It works great ð
Review: I looked at several stovetop percolators during my search before I decided on this one. The price was not unreasonable and it looked to be sturdily made. Which is a good thing since I can be rather clumsy and half blind when I first wake up.My 17 year old daughter and I tried it out the same day it was delivered. While there might not be any measurements inside nor outside of it (it would be nice if it did), after reading the reviews which verified common sense I just fill it to the bottom welded line of the spout or just between there and the first hole from the bottom of the spout. We set the gas burner on medium and just waited for the music/perking to begin. We turned the heat down and after a few minutes of it perking we turned it off. We then let it sit for a minute to let the water drain back down to the bottom of the pot. While we used an espresso roast (that's all that we had), the flavor wasn't too strong. Now, this morning I used a coffee & chicory coffee and the taste was phenomenal. Yes, the temperature is rather hotter than a drip coffee maker or a Keurig, but that's just fine with me since it means that even after I use my homemade cinnamon coffee creamer it was just hot enough to drink without burning my mouth. All in all the Coleman stovetop percolator was easy to assemble and easy to use. I personally love the design of the percolator. Just remember when using something with a metal handle on the stovetop make sure to use a pot holder. Oh! If you're worried about coffee grounds just use a coffee filter. Since all I have are ones made for a drip coffee maker I just folded it in half and then kept folding it until it was a triangle and just snipped the end to make a hole for the stem. Easy peasy! I'm thinking of trying to make my own out of unbleached cotton muslin. We shall see! Have a great ð day! It's time for a second cup of coffee â!

Title: Looks great and is makes good coffee.
Review: I bought this coffee percolator in case of emergencies. Having no coffee is not a good thing if electric power goes out, and we have to go cowboy style. Itâs such a nice sturdy pot, that I am using it quite a bit for our morning coffee, because it makes good coffee! Additionally it looks great on the stove. No itâs not a quick cup, but I like the percolator taste. It took a few tryâs to get the measurements, proper grind, and timing, for my tastes. But works great for a good cup of Joe. I like the large size as there is enough to take a go cup on the way out the door, or boil up some water for other purposes when needed. Itâ easy to clean, love the stainless instead of aluminum or enameled. Itâs made well and I see no signs of discoloration so far. Yes, I would recommend this coffee pot.

Title: Coleman 12 cup stainless percolator
Review: Developing a healthy kitchen can be daunting, but the Coleman 12 cup stainless percolator provides great tasting coffee brewed in stainless steel as blazing hot as you might like it, in a retro style. At our house, the decision was made to eliminate hot water running over plastic, through paper fiber filters, and into our coffee cups. It unclutters the countertop by eliminating a bulky appliance that takes up useful space in the kitchen. The Coleman is very strong stainless steel, heats quickly, uses approximately half the coffee grounds because the water percolates repeatedly over the grounds, and produces coffee that is robust and hot. Because it is on the stovetop, you can keep it very hot to the last drop. If you have a hood over your stovetop it carries the steam away, instead of having steam accumulate under one of the top cabinets from conventional coffee makers. We also like the fact that we can stretch our hazelnut coffee by using 2 scoops=1/4 cup of regular coffee plus 1 scoop or 1/8 cup hazelnut to make 12 cups of great hazelnut coffee. This is a way of using a third of the expensive coffee for the same result.Germs can accumulate in coffee makers because there are places that are difficult for even the cleanliest person to get to, and perhaps no human being has ever discovered. The Coleman Percolater can go in the dishwasher or be cleaned entirely every time it is used so germs can't lurk anywhere and there can be no coffee residue build up. The craziest amoung us can even soak the stem in vinegar from time to time. No filters to buy, less coffee grounds to buy, and truly clean pots deliver a hot brew and consistent delicious coffee. You will save money. If the top cracks, get the replacement top that has a screw on ring attachment to secure it to the lid. We like it better than the one we broke and purchased it from Amazon, right after we assigned the blame for who broke it.After hurricane Wilma, the lights were out and the stove was cold, but we had piping hot coffee every morning with a similar stove top percolator by firing up the portable gas Coleman Stove outdoors. It was so comforting with the electricity off for nearly 3 weeks to have hot coffee in the morning. The same pot can be used to heat water for tea or cleaning dishes. I recommend that every family have at least one of these for everyday use and emergencies. If you liked this review, you might also like The Real Deal For Women: Buying Cars, read the book, have a robust hot cup of coffee, and negotiate The Real Deal for your favorite car. Title: Ok percolator, but excellent for cowboy coffee.
Review: Overall itâs an ok, durable percolator thatâs easy to clean, just wish the internals were the same diameter as the top opening so they donât slide around inside (like my smaller Coletti percolator). The internals donât move around enough to prevent you from seeing the coffee in the glass cap, but it would have given the percolator a more premium feel. Also, the tube that connects the internals was slightly crooked.I ended up taking out the internals and I use it for making cowboy coffee, and for that it is great. Opening is big enough to get your hand in to clean out the grounds and it feels durable enough to use even on a campfire (havenât tried a fire yet though, just electric stovetop).

Title: Very Nice Coffee Pot
Review: Had to order a replacement because the 1st one was warped around the edge. The second one was not warped but came with a broken glass knob but I kept it and just ordered a couple of replacement knobs from amazon rather than send the whole thing back. Everything is great now. Very nice looking pot to use on gas grill when we have power outages during hurricane season. Love the stainless steel. High quality.

Review: I gave this as a gift. Itâs a nice big size and is of high quality. They use it on their camp stove. The coffee didnât take very long to perk at all. And the stainless steel keeps it warm for a long time, but it was really easy to reheat (take the basket out after perking). No need for coffee filters , they ground their coffee to medium grind. On a regular house stove, the handle doesnât heat up, but on the campsite stove the handle did get hot . But I expected that . All in all, a perfect coffee pot that looks and feels expensive.
