Title: Packed with great info
Review: Purchased this book when my daughter moved to Queens and was looking for a job in NYC. It was a great intro to the neighborhoods in NY My daughter was a student at Hunter College and looking for a job in the city. It gave a great overview and the map was wonderful. We have used it extensively for restaurants, attractions etc. Being a native of upstate Ny and having very little city experience it was great for me. I can find my way to and from Penn Station and the Port Authority and really enjoy all that the city has to offer. My daughter used this book to find her first interview at an upscale NY restaurant were she now works while being a busy college student.. This book is packed with great info.

Title: Love these Guides
Review: These are very comprehensive and well organized travel guides. I live in the suburbs of New York and this guide comes in very handy. It will keep you from getting ripped off at the tourist traps and ensure you gt a good value for your money. My recent vacation was in Brooklyn and I used this to find great restaurants and places to visit in the neighborhood where we stayed in (Fort Greene) and in Manhattan, all recs were excellent. The recommendations to visit the Brooklyn Promenade, Brooklyn Bridge and Empire State Building (see it at all night) were right on too.

Title: Fodor's is just my favorite every time
Review: I have used different guides for different trips but I always come back to Fodor's. Good summaries of the main attractions, lots of food and hotel recommendations, contains a great map to take with you while you are exploring, and general practical tips. If it's missing anything, it is probably the lesser-known attractions. If you are going for a short trip and just want to see the highlights, this is all you need. If you are going for a long trip and want to see some more unusual things, you might want to pick up a second guide, maybe a Lonely Planet.

Title: Excellent Tour Guide Book for NYC
Review: Of the three tour books I purchased for a recent trip to New York City in October 2015, this was the most informative. The included map is very useful but is not as sturdy as those included by other publishers. I used a few APP Store products on my iPhone on the streets but always needed to reference the written word before and during touring. The most useful APP was for NYC subways with real-time location. But I used the tour guide book most offend. I will spend more time planning my next trip to the Big Apple using a Tour-guide book long before I arrive and I suggest you should also,

Review: Guide is divided up by location, so wherever you go, you have detailed information on what to see, where to eat, and how to get there. Spent hours going through the guide before we left home. I bought several different guides before taking this trip. This book was by far the best! Worth every penny...

Review: I love Fodor's Travel Guides. I buy them any time that I can when traveling. This is my third or fourth travel guide and it didn't disappoint. It contains all the information I needed to have a great trip in New York. I realize that much of this information is online and I usually go check that out but Fodor's gives me a place to start. I try to make it to most of the Fodor's Choice locations and am never disappointed.

Review: About 100 pages in. Awesome, in-depth guide on the millions of things NYC has to offer. Using it for an upcoming trip to NYC in February. Love how it is divided by neighborhood and provides information on each neighborhood, plus all the travel tips it provides. The maps are also great. Love this guide!

Title: Comprehensive and complex
Review: It is always nice with an updated guide. I found this guide book a little difficult to navigate in and the picks of restaurants and cafés is not always spot on. Whether that is because cafés tend to rise their price when they discover they are mentioned in a travel guide I don't know.A lot of good information but not intuitive to me.
