If you want to can, you'll need an extra, high-capacity, commercial-grade induction designed for canners.

Note

Induction cooking is not compatible with all pots. Please check the bottom of the pot with a magnet. If it’s not magnetic it won’t work.

It Compatible with Pots or Pans that Can Be Adsorbed by Magnets

Not all cookware is compatible with induction cooktops. To test, place a small kitchen magnet on the cookware's bottom. If the magnet holds, the cookware is compatible.

Title: Exceptional heat contol
Review: This is the perfect size for my candy making. The base is sturdy and solid. The entire unit is solidly made. The cord is about 3' long. It is easy to adjust the temperature on the front of the unit. It holds the temp perfectly with very little fluctuation. I am able to keep my candy 🍬 at exactly the right temp without having to hand-adjust. Easily works with cast iron, enamel coated cookware (ie le Crueset) or any other conductive metal saucepan. The internal fan isn't silent but it's perfectly acceptable and not 'noisy'.Great unit!
