Instructions - All families are unique, please use the below instructions as you see best and suit your family lifestyle.

STEP 1 – FAMILIARITY

Begin with just 2 or 3 magnets , something you already do on a daily basis would be a great choice

Talk about each magnet so your child will start to recognise what it is for, refer to the word on the magnet so you stay consistent

EXAMPLE

Start with Now we are going to put our shoes on

Then move onto Now we are going to put our shoes on Then we will put our coat on

STEP 2 – EXPANDING

Once your child has got the hang of it increase the magnets one at a time until you have a complete routine.

Your child should now be able to use the magnets independently, through may need prompting to start using them, remember to keep praising and being delighted by how grown up they are becoming

STEP 3 – BUILDING IT UP

Now that they have gained their routine confidence, its time to start gradually building their next routine, keep it slow and fun with positive reinforcements.

If they find it tricky , no problem, try one of the below options which should give you a bit more information so you can troubleshoot

1. give them a few days to reset themselves and try again

2. try changing some of the magnets, it maybe they may find certain ones tricky for some reason

3. make a routine of all the magnets they love, does that work ?

Review: I purchased this for my 3 year old so she could track her days and also the activities. This is super well made and the pictures are easy for her to understand and I love how you can make your own magnets based on what you need. We aren’t currently using the magnetic board but put it on our fridge. Overall highly recommend!!

Review: I was searching for something to get my toddlers on schedule now that my oldest started pre-k. I am very impressed with this kit. I ended up using the magnets on our refrigerator for a bigger space. Love the pictures and the magnetic stars for positive reinforcement. Great quality as well

Title: Cute idea but not practical
Review: So this is an adorable and well crafted chore/activity/responsibilities tile magnets. They are very good quality. There are so many options. However, the board to which they’d be placed on is like a presentation trifold. It doesn’t make sense to use this and is impractical. I was going to return it but missed my window. So I’ll just find some magnetic boards and use these where I need them (like the bathroom vanity, living room for afterschool, and bedroom for night time routine).

Title: Morning & Evening Routine Saver
Review: Mornings and evenings have become a cluster with my 3 year old, so a friend recommended getting an activity chart to give her a feeling of control over the routine so I bought this one. I liked that it was cute & customizable. I wasn’t sure about how expensive it was and the trifold aspect. But we can carry it to whatever room we’re in as motivation to complete whatever task we need to do, like brushing teeth, so I don’t mind it being trifold now.It has really helped us! Instead of bribing or threatening to try to get ready for preschoolOr nighttime, I can tell my daughter “You need to brush your teeth to get a star”. She gets so excited to put a star in it and asks for her book whenever we start our routine. I can tell she’s really proud of herself. It doesn’t fix everything (she’s still a threenager), but we have less days where I’m totally exasperated with her. So yay.I don’t think it’s durable enough to let a kid use it as a toy, and the magnets aren’t super strong. So I try to be careful with it because I’m not sure how it will hold up after a long period of time (which is why I have it 4 stars instead of 5).Tons of extra magnets though so there are backups if something gets ruined.
