Title: My favorite cookbook!
Review: I have tried several recipes from this book and all have been voted "this one's a keeper!" by my family. Recipes are not complicated at all and are delicious. I love watching Lidia's Kitchen on PBS. Clear instructions and lots of delicious photos.

Title: Lidia is Awesome - The Cookbook - Lacking.
Review: I so admire Lidia and often watch her show on our PBS affiliate. I love a beautiful cookbook and in many ways this new one is just that. What I noticed immediately is that there aren't photos of the food with the bulk of the recipes. It actually makes a huge difference in how the recipe comes across and how you should consider the presentation. The recipe value would have been multihued many fold...with photos.

Review: I am a Lidia Matticchio Bastianich Fan! I have a couple of her other books but amloving this new one. I feel it's more family orientated and something that I think I will get so much use from. There are not pictures ot go with every meal but when you cook you really don't need that. To me it's just an added extra if you get beautiful photographs. The recipes all sound so appealing and if it's anything like any of her other recipes you will not be disappointed. Coming up to cook I have, Crespelle Manicotti with Spinach, Vegetable Polpotte, Eggplant Rollatini, Crispy Roasted Cauliflower, Focaccia de Recco, Cheesy Baked chicken wings, Kale salad with avocado and pistachio, shrimp and tomato risotto, spicy vinegar ribs and potatoes and roasted cranberries and pears over ice cream. Cannot wait.
