Carpenter Bee Solutions

Hang your Best BEE Trap on the sunny side of your structure, High peaks and corners are prime locations.Do not empty the trap unless it is full or has moisture in the jar. The dead and dying bees in the trap make it more effective.

How did we get our start?

Brian is an exotic animal farmer who built his farm house by hand from recycled wood found on his property. Shortly after completing his home, the Carpenter Bees began burrowing into the wood. Brian didn't want to expose his farm and family to toxic chemicals, and found the existing traps on the market ineffective.

What makes our products unique?

Brian observed the carpenter bees and studied the habits to develop a solution. Over the course of several years, Brian tested many different trap designs before discovering the most effective trap. The Best Bee Trap!

Title: The trap does work, and keeps other pollinators safe
Review: You need to have a dead bee or two already at home for you to put inside the tube, for the trap to work and catch more, or buy some bait. The negative reviews don’t know how this style of trap works! You need to by bait if you don’t have dead bees to put inside it to help capture the ones being menaces in your yard! This is a really really good sturdy trap, and it will do what you want to and keep your yard free of carpenter bees if you use it correctly. All carpenter bee traps that are actually good traps are like this. Other traps will catch other types of pollinators! This trap, as you can see from my picture, only catches carpenter bees.

Title: Does not work
Review: I put up a brand new debt cover and had several carpenter bees trying to eat the wood. I hung this product up and never caught one carpenter bee. I had to take care of the problem myself with insecticide and plugging up the holes not one went into this house, do not purchase it does not work.

Title: It really works.
Review: Gave it 4 stars because I just hung it a few days ago. Will readjust my rating later in season. Carpenter bees nested in a railing on my deck. This season is the third year.. I waited for an overcast day to plug up the hole with wood filler (wood putty takes too long to dry) then hung the product next to the railing. Four days went by and nothing, although they were flying all over my deck. Suddenly this morning, it looked like 5 or 6 were in the see through jar. I was so excited! Hope it catches all of them so our deck could get total use. Going to purchase another one for the nest out front.

Title: Finally, a good option for getting rid of wood boring bees!
Review: We are so pleased to finally have an inexpensive way to control carpenter bees that just love our log home. We have fought this issue for 20 yrs. and spent many dollars having professionals spray the outside of the home. Thank you for making our lives better by not having to deal with this issue any longer. Plus, we have continued to use them year after year just by emptying the traps!

Title: No luck
Review: I put it up in my carpenter bee-infested porch. It's been a month, nothing trapped save a single honeybee.

Title: Nice design
Review: I have not 'trapped' any bees yet (early in the year) but... I have been impressed with the craftmanship of the trap... ease of installing... and appearance on my deck. Given these factors, I do feel it is a good value.

Title: These traps are a joke
Review: Don’t waste your money. I have tired every kind of these traps over the years. They may trap a few carpenter bees but they are not wiping out your problem. You may think you are making headway when you see some bees in the trap. You aren’t. Their holes and eggs are up in the places you can’t reach. A few may go into your trap - the rest are up in your fascia boards or where ever else you don’t want them hatching and then laying more eggs. This year I had an exterminator come out and the entire problem was wiped out in one day. Their nesting areas need to be hit with insecticide. That wipes them out.
