Backup Power Solution: When an emergency causes a power outage, this 63 Amp generator transfer switch allows you to quickly switch to a backup power(portable generator, temporary power such as photovoltaic solar, etc.) to ensure continuous power to critical equipment in your home or small business premises. This is vital for maintaining basic life functions, especially during natural disasters
Easy to Operate and Maintain: One-button switch, only need to toggle upwards to complete the switch; With upgraded pressure plate wiring, the wiring is convenient and more solid. We provide two versions of pre-wired and not-wired, pre-wired transfer switch style upgraded to copper wiring, the internal wiring is carefully connected to match the general home wiring, just need to connect the input power correctly to reduce the risk of wiring errors, you can choose the right 240 transfer switch style according to the actual wiring requirements
Long-term Stability: The metal case of the manual transfer switch has a protective coating on the surface, which can withstand rain, snow, wind and other adverse weather, ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the entire backup power system
Multiple Safety Protections: The interlocking circuit breaker is made of fire-retardant materials for safety and reliability; Electromagnetic release provides short-circuit protection; The built-in small arc extinguishing chamber accelerates arc extinguishing; The visual window with red and green light indication shows power on/off at a glance; And the interlocking handle widens the arc to improve operating comfort
Wide Range of Applications: Digowers generator transfer switch, up to support 120/240V voltage and 15000W power portable generators and solar panels, easily meet the needs of a variety of large household appliances and high-power equipment use

Title: Excellent Transfer Switch
Review: I ordered the pre-wired version of this switch. Basically, all I had to do was run my service wires through the bottom conduit holes and into the bottom ports of the breakers. These breakers are arranged so that you CAN NOT run both power inputs at the same time and that is a very good thing. I tested this and the only positions these switches can be placed in is:Both off, Line on / Gen off, Line off/ Gen on.This prevents the generator from back feeding into the the Line in. This is very important in a power off situation, you don't want to electrocute a power service worker because you allowed your generator to backfeed into the power lines. You "can" build one of these fairly easily, but since this box unit is only about $55, it's more than worth buying this pre-build set.

Title: Workable generator transfer switch
Review: This is a decent manual transfer switch that's interlocked. Enclosure is basic and probably not suitable for extreme weather but good enough for mild winters. It does have 2 pole's to support 240v generators/supply which many manual transfer switches do not.

Title: Two breakers with an interlock
Review: I got the "prewired" version and this is simply two breakers with an interlock so if you go to turn on one, the other switches off. That makes sure you only have one source (line power or generator power) feeding your home or circuits at a time. I suppose they chose to call this "63 amp switch" to make it come out as "15,000 watt capacity", yet it seems odd to me for someone to market a weird number like "63 amp" rather than "60" or such. The "prewired" has added wires off each breaker to a common place for you to wire up the house power feed. Inside the box are 2 "ground" strips for neutral junctions or grounds with spots for 5 wires on each. Many when adding things for a generator feed will be adding a breaker box to have "critical" circuits on that you want powered by a generator. If you'll be doing that, many boxes can be set up with interlocked breakers in it (so why buy this box and the other when you can do it all in one?) Yet if you already have a subpanel, then this can be the "switch" in between. So check out what's best for your needs (or ask an electrical worker).

Title: Functional manual transfer switch, but not for your home
Review: This manual transfer switch works as intended, but it's a bit rough in a few place and has no US certifications, so no inspector will let you use it for your home. I plan to use it in my RV, so no inspector will know or care.As for fit and function, it's a little rough, with some flashing on the plastic pieces and screws that don't really want to find their places on the enclosure. It does switch between two inputs just fine. This is not a ground isolating switch, so your generator must not have a GFCI or it will pop immediately upon sensing the main panel's earth. The 63A rating is a bit unusual for US breakers, but the standard 5A steps of US breakers are really just arbitrary, so that's not a huge problem. I did not load test this to evaluate the true breaker rating, so I guess I'll just trust it to work as labeled.Overall, it's a decent hobby enclosure and switch, but shall not be used for any grid-connected or code-compliant applications. The price reflects this, coming in at hundreds less than a similar code-compliant switch. It's hard to give a high rating to non-compliant electrical devices, and it's really no better than average anyway. Buy this for a hobby application, but not for your home.

Title: Excellent for manual transfer switch!
Review: I'm in the process of building a battery backup to handle some of our appliances and outlets. This switch has two breakers. Both breakers can be off, but only one can be on. Flip the main power breaker up and this will force the generator/backup power breaker next to it to shut off. Very nice, safe and easily added to my configuration. The quality of this switch feels solid and should last for some time!

Title: Good transfer switch but no UL
Review: This looks like a nice and solid transfer switch between two input power sources with power indicators and short-circuit protection at a good price. It is designed to ensure protection against the trouble of having both sources being put through at the same time.I got the prewired version, and the connections seem to be robust and accurate. The box looks like it would protect the circuits from the elements as stated in the description and it's nice that it comes with a see-through window as well. The only problem I have with it is that I don't see any UL certification, so that'll be an issue with the home inspector.
