Title: Holistic Health through Vegetarian and Vegan Lifestyles
Review: The Back to Eden Cookbook provides many ideas for better health. The author divides the book into two sections. Part one provides seven chapters on the concept of finding balance in our diets through natural cooking. The second supplies recipes for all meals and snacks to help those who embark on such a journey. Throughout, the author gives vegetarian and vegan ways to achieve these goals. However, anyone can incorporate this cookbook into a healthy modern lifestyle, regardless of diet plan, making Back to Eden a wonderful resource. The first four chapters focus on the authorâs inspiration for the book and modern theories and pitfalls of those to health. Chapter one lays out wisdom from the origins of the ideas by a doctor in 1939. It goes on to talk about how this connects to todayâs ideals and why all people deserve to heal our nutritional ways from processed food to the real deal. The next chapter tells the reader how processed foods and the pharmaceutical industry change our diets for the worse. Chapter 2 ends with ways to fix this and regain health from the inside out. The third and fourth chapters walk hand in hand with many recommendations. Chapter three discusses food as medicine. It describes how to understand the healing power of natural foods, followed by how to use the knowledge to remedy what ails us and prevent future problems in the gut and overall health. The fourth chapter then tells us about food, herbs, exercise, and other stress mitigation tools as a system for preventing chronic diseases and boosting long term health.Chapters five through seven provide more details on ways to accomplish what the first four discussed. Chapter five in particular talks about various types of cleanses and how to stay hydrated while performing them, plus listening to oneâs body. It presents how to use juice, whole foods, or herbal mixtures to reset bodily systems. The third part of chapter 5 also tells the reader how to use intermittent fasting as part of a cleansing routine. A person reading this would be wise to consult a medical professional to learn what type of cleanses, if any, work best for their personal constitution. The sixth chapter then goes on from here to inform a reader of how to start a lifestyle around the natural diet, and the last introductory chapter teaches the reader how to maintain it.The rest of the book provides 122 recipes plus conversions of measurements and temperatures among various systems. This allows the reader to choose from several categories spanning breakfast to dessert with all possibilities in between. In fact, many of the listed recipes can transcend categories depending on how a person prefers to eat. This offers more flexibility than most cookbooks for the reader to assemble a diet based on the contents if Back to Eden is given as a first cookbook or housewarming gift to someone new to cooking. In fact, the only categories necessary for this book were Savory and Sweet, but those being so broad likely led to the dividing of recipes by meal or snack. The recipes encompass flavors from around the world, some including and some excluding nuts and other allergens to make the book valuable to anyone wishing to cook. Thus, the Back to Eden Cookbook can satisfy anyone. Cooks and food lovers alike will marvel at the range of information and recipes found here. It has wisdom, recipes, and suggestions on how to get and stay healthy that will transcend the current day far into the future. In conjunction with proper medical advice, Back to Eden will help many people follow the path to wellness.

Title: Very informative and helpful
Review: This is a vegan cookbook inspired by the work of Jethro Kloss, the author of Return to Eden who strongly believed in returning to a more natural way of living through the food we eat.In the beginning, there are seven chapters devoted to explaining the reasons for transitioning to a more natural way of eating, and the potential benefits you and your family can have when choosing this lifestyle. It goes into detail about how processed and refined foods can gradually derail a person's health, how big pharmaceuticals and the food industry are tied together and how labels on everyday food items can sometimes be misleading. The following chapters are filled with helpful information on a variety of cleanses for key systems of the human body to help keep you healthy, tips for transitioning to healthier eating habits, staying on track, and much more.Altogether, this cookbook features over one hundred delicious vegan recipes, all intended to help navigate the tricky road to a more natural way of eating. Some of the recipes are quick and easy, while others are a bit more time consuming. Some even require beans to be soaked overnight, but are still doable with a bit of prepping and time management skills. It also includes some additional content that is accessible through a QR code at the end of the book. It includes a guide for getting the rest of your family on board with the idea of a more natural way of eating food, the mental and psychological benefits of natural healing, and lastly, a month long meal planning guide to help get you started. So whether you're a life long vegan looking for new and delicious recipes, or someone contemplating the idea of changing your current lifestyle, this would definitely be a good book to check out.

Title: Natural is the best
Review: Very interesting, the book makes us aware that we are part of nature and that we should take advantage of the resources it gives us. God created plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables to give us everything we need to have a healthy diet and thus prevent so many diseases that are seen today and are caused by eating so many processed foods and toxic environments.Something else that caught my attention is that the author explains how lack of sleep, stress, depression and anxiety can be controlled based on a good healthy diet, it is not necessary to spend so much on medications or doctors since in many cases to relieve symptoms such as reflux, inflammation, stomach problems among other things you have it at your fingertips in your kitchen. I think what I liked most about this book is the importance and the honest way of showing that the pharmaceutical companies and industries are allied to take money from the population without caring about what they do. Through processed foods and medicines that only partially alleviate the symptoms, they are chaining people to just being sick without any cure at all.I recommend that you read this book, it will open your eyes, it will make you want to change your eating routine so that your family's health improves, giving up processed foods is a challenge but it can be achieved little by little and the plants and herbs mentioned in the book with their recipes are simple but effective, but they should be used with caution like all medicine, good book.
