Title: Fat and punchy warm tone across wide volume
Review: Replaced the wimpy stock bridge pickup on my 2018 Am. Performer Pbass. Had a pro set up, so I canât comment on ease of installing, but probably not that challenging for a DIYer.As the pics show, thereâs also a high-mass bridge replacement, but that in itself didnât fix the anemic tone and/or volume I was getting from the stock p/u. The point being, without a bridge replacement into the bargain, your results may vary.Anyway, I now find myself using a lot more bridge in the p/u balance, especially at higher band volumes. In addition, thereâs greater depth in the tonal possibilities, whereas before I was hearing major unpredictable dropouts of sweetness, low end punch, or high articulations. This is a damn fine p/u. Got me curious about their split Ps as well. Might have to try those.

Title: Nice sound, easy install
Review: Bought to change out my j pick up on a Yamaha RBX mango top. Was really surprised about how easy it was to replace the original, no more them 5 mins (20 min for remove and install strings and tune). This new pick up is great at most a 50 to 60% volume increase. (Also changed the p pick-ups, very little or no change to original) very happy with this product, instructions provided, easy install and happy with the out come.

Title: Great Sound -Easy to install too.
Review: I have a Squire Fender P Bass. Both of my stock pickups just would not produce enough. I bought this pickup and the P Pickup and made my Bass sound LIKE IT SHOULD without needing to crank up the pre amp. Now I can actually use my volume knobs on my bass to get just the correct sound instead having to turn the volume up all the way on my Bass just to hear it, then crank to pre amp too. These are made right here in USA (California) which there is no comparison to the China Made Stock Pickups. If you need great sound, THESE ARE THE ONE !!!

Title: Big improvement
Review: This pickup dropped right in to the body of my Squier short-scale bass. Took about 15 minutes to install (I have done this sort of thing before). It's at least half-again louder than the factory pickup, but no noisier (there is some hum; it is, after all, a single-coil pickup). Terrific tone -- a big step up.

Title: Decent pickup
Review: I got a Neck position SJB3 and a Bridge position SJB3 to upgrade the pickups in my made in Mexico Jazz Bass. They have a slightly fatter, more classic and punchy jazz pickup tone than the stock ones did, These do run a little bit hot on the action, though, and I adjust my pair of SJB3s very gradually with the knobs. As for installation, these are very easy to install if you are familiar with soldering the electronics. If not, it's worth paying a professional repairman/luthier to install these properly and they will sound just as good either way. If you are looking for a good set of pickups to replace the stock ones in a cheap Squier/Made in Mexico bass, these will work. However, in my opinion as a gigging bassist on a budget, they aren't that strikingly different than the cheaper stock pickups. I couldn't justify spending $60 a piece on them, disconnected and returned them both.Pros+Improved tone over cheaper stock Fender and Squier pickups+Easy to install+Has a tone reminiscent of the old 70s jazz pickupsCons-Tone control is a little too hot-As a gigging bassist on a budget, the SJB3 just don't have enough to justify the price

Title: This is boss!!!
Review: You can't go wrong on this pickup, I have a Yamaha RBX 170 bass, a cheap bass, but very solid. It sound great, but when I installed the pickup I don't believe how good it sounds!!! it is just very clear sound and also very loud. Go get it, is a nice product

Title: Really disappointed in the soldering that came from the factory
Review: I ordered this pickup for a bass build. When it arrived, the black wire was not attached to the pickup. I have done some soldering before, so i soldered the wire back on. When I got to the point where i was ready to install the pickup, I fed the wires through the hole and thw white wire came off the pickup. So, I soldered it back into placeb and checked the continuity with my continuity meter, and had continuity. But once I got my bass wired up, there is nothing coming from the pickup. Really disappointed in the soldering that came from the factory.

Title: hot!
Review: Really made a huge difference in sound, most notably volume! These things are a lot hotter than the factory Ibanez in my sr405. I really like the tone and they were easy to install.

Review: Ottimo livello di uscita, suono piuttosto aggressivo. Ottimo in configurazione PJ!

Review: Had to replace my 35 year old 1/4 pounder - always loved that sound, so I saw no reason to change the brand of pickup. Also replaced the original neck pickup on my '74 Jazz Bass with a 1/4 pounder while I was at it - gives a more balanced sound. Very happy with Seymour Duncan pickups - they give me that great Jazz Bass Vintage tone.

Review: Excellent jazz bass pickups, replaced existing oem on my bass, a little pricy but nothing else to match the output as they have larger poles. Noticeable difference from neck and bridge with wiring between the two opposing pickups and creating less hum as effectively reducing the single coil issues of each.
