Title: Great book and free on-line
Review: Enjoyed this book very much as my ancestors are mentioned every few pages or so! The actions of our Mohawk Valley Patriots during the Revolutionary War are featured, often at the individual level. Quite a bit of detail is provided here as well about daily life among the Dutch and the Palatines who intermarried in this area, their cultures intermixing. The only flaw is no index, so drats, I've been forced to read it straight-through and loving every minute of it.Oh by the way, this book is available free online as are many, many books advertised here on Amazon.
