Title: Great Little Unit - Quiet & Powerful
Review: I purchased 2 of the Whisper EX30 units for my 33 gallon long tank. Both work flawlessly and quietly. I even took a short video of them. Finally the air circulation system in the building shut off so I could tape this (Very rare, building owner doesn't like people suffocating in the building and dying I guess), both of these units run quietly enough together that the little bubbler is louder then them. The video is filmed in dead silence in the middle of the night. TV easily drowns these out. They do make a little hum, not a big deal, they all hum a little. These truly are whispers, if yours isn't, talk to someone about it and get it replaced, you have a defective unit. Neither has given me any trouble, both work the same and are very reliable. You can also see the water is crystal clear, my water is never any worse then it is in the video, even right before a bi-monthly water change.Only thing that bothered me, not enough to take away a star, was it is a little snug on the tank, good in some cases, I just like a bit of play because down the road if they ever do start vibrating or such, I could put a thin foam pad between them and the tank and loud pumps go quiet then. Did that with the Aqua-Tech I had prior to these because it screamed like a banshee right outta the box. Seriously impressed with these units though, and fitting snugly is probably a good thing. And by snug I mean, it fits like a glove, no forcing it on or anything, fits right down as it should, but has no play. Like it was machined to fit (On my tank anyhow).PS - Disappointed with the FEDEX guy though, slacker entered delivery attempt when none was made since I was here the whole time, gate unlocked and open. No door tag provided, secretary and surveillance cams saw no sign of him anywhere that day, didn't even drive past. Had to pick this up 2 days later and talked to manager. Disciplinary action took place before I had even left, glad I wasn't that guy, they were really tearing a strip off him.

Title: Work great
Review: I bought two of these for my 125 gal tank and they work great. Water is always clear and they aren’t too loud. I’ve had them for a year now and they’re still kicking. Every once in a while one will randomly get a little loud but cleaning the little magnetic propellor usually solves that problem. Occasionally when the water gets low they will be much louder too but that’s always an easy fix.EDIT : I originally ordered these November of 2022. One of them finally stopped working (it’s currently February 2024). I added photos to show the different between a 2 year old filter and the new one I just ordered. The old one clearly isn’t pumping as much as the new one but that’s to be expected. To their credit I’ve only ever taken them apart and cleaned them at most 4 times during the last two years. I’m sure in the hands of someone with more patience and better care they’d last even longer.

Title: A little vibrational noise but works great
Review: Many people don't like HOB filters for a variety of reasons. I got this one as I'm still a relatively new fishkeeper but wanted something that let the fish have more swimming space than what would've been taken up with a sponge filter due to tank size.I've been using this on a 10 gallon tank, and it's worked super! It occasionally vibrates itself into making some noise, but if you bump it a little it'll quiet itself down. Nothing can ever be 100% silent, but I usually don't even pay attention to it anymore. If your water level drops, it'll sound like a waterfall, but what else is to be expected?The removable filters are nice to have, I reuse mine multiple times by rinsing it out in the water removed during a water change. (Protip, do this to save some extra money!)I've been using this filter for about 9 months and I'm happy with its performance. Sometimes the motor doesn't want to suck up water if I unplug it for a major water change, but I just give it a minute and it'll chug it right up. Sounds awful running dry, though.The plastic is a little thin, but that's been more or less okay. If you try and baffle the flow by sticking sponges or other filter media inside the "waterfall" section, the top cover may pop off a bit, but you can shove it back into place easily enough.

Review: Reasonably priced filter that work well. Bottom piece continually falls off in tank. Easy to clean. Filter bags cheaply made and rip apart after a couple of cleaning.

Title: Is very loud
Review: This filter worked great when I first started using it in May with it cleaning my axolotls tank but it was never "whisper" quiet in the slightest. We try to keep the water level pretty high to prevent the splash noise but it still sounds like a regular filter. With that being said, it started leaking out of no where and we only realized bc we went to clean under our media center that the tank sits on and realized there was a puddle which was alarming. We cleaned it and set it back on the tank carefully to see if maybe it was the way it was placed the previous time, left a grey hand towel under it and waited. Sure enough within the week the towel was completely doused (used a grey towel to see the contrast of the water). Apart from that it felt like the filters got dirty faster each time even when we used an extra filter sponge as well in order to help with the yuck. It's bulky and the pipes are flimsy to stay attached. We only feed our axolotl worms as it's high protein and the best thing to feed them so there hadn't been a change in diet for the filter to continue to decline in it's effectiveness. This is with us cycling half the water regularly, siphoning the poop and switching the filters regularly as well. Ended up purchasing a different filter bc of the noise but in the end I realized it just had to be replaced bc of all the other issues as well

Review: This is an amazing filter. It works incredibly well and is very quiet. Its not one of those loud filters. It's only loud when the water level is low, which is very helpful. Its easy to clean, and the size is great for a 50 gallon tank.

Review: El filtro llego a tiempo y bien empaquetado, el ruido que hace es minimo, en mi caso solo alcanzo a escuchar la cascada de agua que cae del filtro, el filtro pasado tambien era tetra, puede ser que me acostumbre al ruido, pero no es nada molesto. Es muy facil de armar y viene con instructivo por si las dudas, aparte trae un tubo expansor para alargar el filtro dependiendo de la profundidad del tanque. Mi pez y yo estamos encantados con el !

Y sus medidas exactas son: largo 14.56 cms, ancho 13.8 cms y profundidad 27 cms desde la salida del agua.Busque en la página de Amazon y nunca encontré cuanto consume de energia, consume 4.8 watts sin saturar y saturado 5 watts, el largo del cable de alimentación es de 1.70 cms.No hace mucho ruido si lo limpias siguiendo las instrucciones para sacar la propela del manual.Me funcionó bien con un acuario de 52 litros pues el flujo no es muy fuerte, dimensiones de mi acuario 50 largo 26 ancho y 40 de alto, todos centímetros.Lo compré en 252.40 pesos mexicanos y era el más económica en ese momento por amazon Prime de México.
