Title: Very informative
Review: Very easy to study its contents, as this PALS manual is well organized with algorithms, contains a quick reference guide, step by step visuals, and excellent brief reviews on emergency PALS medications. Also, this manual has AHA practice exams. For anyone thinking about becoming PAL certified, this is a great AHA official supported prep manual.

Title: Good Brushup
Review: This book was an easy read and a satisfying value. Of course I will still need to study the materials provided in the class itself but I definitely feel better prepared now. The text is easy to read and algorithms are well delineated.

Title: The only PALS book you need
Review: I'm a practitioner and an instructor. I found this easy to navigate (the ebook version and text to speech is also convenient), easy to understand and not redundant. This is an excellent reference book for those who need review, as well as a great study for those who are encountering this material for the first time. I highly recommend this book and have it loaded and ready to go on my tablet.

Title: This is NOT the full PALS manual
Review: This is not the full manual. I have online access to the full thing and this is like 1\3 of that. No point in it at all

Title: Good Review Tool
Review: Helped me prepare for the initial certification of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course. I had taken the course many years ago, so only needed to refresh my knowledge and acquaint myself with the changes over the years. Plus, this was much cheaper than the full manual offered by the American Heart Association.

Title: A comprehensive guide with effective visuals but please give me sufficient assessment tools
Review: I refreshed my basic life and pediatric advanced life support knowledge. The diagrams and other illustrations helped me solidify what I've learned. The algorithms are in color, which made it even easier for me to visualize the steps.I wonder though why the book does not include more questions after each chapter. I doubt that 3 to 5 questions on average for each chapter will give me a proper assessment of what I've learned. Only the last chapter has sufficient questions, with about 20. Additionally, the answers are sometimes right on the next page, which can be distracting. Lastly, a final quiz would help me gauge what topics I should revisit again.
