Title: Best boots I have ever worn!!!
Review: Best boots I have ever worn!!!. I have nerve damage so my feet hurt all the time. These boots are great, on a scale of 1 - 10 my feet hurt a 2 with these boots vs 7 or 8 with anything else. So far overall the boots are holding up very well and look great also. One problem they are pricey but once I wore them well worth it!

Title: The best hiking boots I've ever worn
Review: This is my second pair of these boots and I love them. No discomfort, even when breaking them in. Best boots I've had.

Title: Boots that fit, are comfortable, and last.
Review: I'm on my 7th pair, have hiked 62% of the AT, and 49 of the 50 state highpoints. These are the right boots for my backpacking and hiking lifestyle. They are not a Goretex boot, but that is preferable in the high humidity environs I tend to hike in. I'm very happy to find that Asolo is still supplying this fine boot.

Title: Great boots
Review: I have been wearing the Asolo 520s for years but they can get a bit hot in the summer. I wear these every day here in the mountains of Colorado and they have handled snow and sun pretty well. Used them with snowshoe and crampons and as long as you wear proper socks and gaiters your feet stay pretty warm. These are supposed to be 520s without the gore tex lining. For the most part they are a duplicate of the 520s and about 2/3rds the cost. The 520s never required a break in period but these required about 2 weeks of steady wear to become comfortable. They top collar is not as snug as on my 520s and sometimes causes a bit of discomfort at the end of the day. Replaced the factory inserts with a set of GreenFeet. So far they appear to wear as well, if not better, than than the 520s and have been waterproof enough that I haven't gotten my feet wet hiking and working. Don't see going back to the 520s in the future.

Title: They don't know how to make a wide fit.
Review: Great boots, if I could just wear them. I wanted these boots because on my last two hikes in Alaska my socks got wet inside my boots and never dried out. These have both a solid leather outer and Gortex inner liner. I normally wear a 10.5 wide. My first order was 10.5W but the boots fit short and narrow. So I returned them and ordered an 11 wide. Again, short and narrow. I could tell immediately when I put them on that hiking in them would be painful on both the side of my foot and my toes. They don't offer an extra wide or EE version.

Title: My third pair over 6 years.
Review: I am hard on boots, rarely maintain them they way they should be, yet worn every day for 9-10 months a year, I get about 2 years out of them! That's worth the price to me, 280$ at the time.

Title: Best Backpacking Boots
Review: This is my third pair of Asolo hiking boots. They fit great right out of the box and continue to be comfortable until you wear out the soles which I have done multiple times. The trails in Pennsylvania are all sharp rocks so the boots take a beating. Keep up the great work Asolo.
