The Coast Mafia financed the casino and is now helping itself to a sizable skim of each month’s cash. The judge is getting a cut and looking the other way. It’s a sweet deal: Everyone is making money.
But now Greg wants to put a stop to it. His only client is a person who knows the truth and wants to blow the whistle and collect millions under Florida law. Greg files a complaint with the Board on Judicial Conduct, and the case is assigned to Lacy Stoltz, who immediately suspects that this one could be dangerous.

Title: THE BOOK IS GOOD. THE READING IS NOT
Review: It is surprising that Audible passed on this reader. The voice was so grating that many times I wanted to stop it. The voice of the main character, a lawyer, was inappropriately breathless. An odd choice for this voice. The male voices were all the same and all in a strange tough guy accent. It would have been better if she just read and didnât try to take on different accents. It was a very unpleasant read.The book is good but, I feel, not his best. - No surprises or interesting twists. It was easy to guess what was coming next and to surmise the conclusion. The details were interesting, as always, but the plot lacked drama and suspense. Given the poor voice and plodding plot, it was a disappointing read.
