Title: Works as expected
Review: The Fire Stick works well, I don't use voice function or Alexa, personally would prefer a "No Alexa" option. I find that even if it is disabled, Alexa is still eavesdropping and tries to offer help that I do not want or need.I cut the cable and have no regrets, the Live TV function does leave much to be desired, i.e. local channels are almost non-existent and most of the time when they are available, they are previously recorded "live broadcasts", not truly live. I use a PlexMedia server with an HDHomeRun2 and antenna in the attic to get my live OTA stations, Fire Stick works great with Plex and so does the HDHomeRun2 Flex 4K from SiliconDust.Overall the two together was a good choice and the savings of cutting the cord is around $200.00 per month.
