Title: Scan tool with a multitude of diagnostic capabilities
Review: This is a review of the scan tool for Ford vehicles from Ancel. The images show details of the scanner after unboxing and using it. The listing provides a very clear description and overview of the numerous functions and testing abilities of this tool. The tool is manufactured with quality standards and I did not find any issues or problems associated with it. The scanner comes with a hard shell case, vehicle data link cable and a USB cable for charging and updating if you choose not to use WiFi. The adjustable touchscreen is easy to read and responds quickly to inputs. It maintains a full charge while connected to the vehicle. I tested it on my 1998 Ford F150. I was unable to use the automatic VIN search do to fact that I have a mismatched PCM installed when I upgraded the power train many years ago but the manual entry was easy and was no problem. Due to the fact that this is an older vehicle I wasn’t able to utilize all the different features of the tool but it had no trouble accessing the modules that the truck has. This scan tool has numerous functional test well beyond just reading codes. The ability to read live data streams and perform bidirectional control for diagnostic tests is very useful in finding faults and repairing vehicles. In the photos above you can see just a few test available for diagnostics. If you own a Ford vehicle or specialize working on Ford vehicles this is definitely a tool you want to have in your toolbox. This affordable scan tool from Ancel will help you quickly diagnose vehicle concerns and effectively complete repairs. I highly recommend it!

Title: Does It All
Review: I love Ancel products. They've got a solid design team cranking out tools and software that can hold their own with the big dogs. This diagnostic tablet is a godsend if you own or work on a lot of Ford vehicles. In my case it paid for itself immediately when it retrieved the factory unlock code for the keyless entry numberpad. The software gives you dealer-level access to all vehicle systems including things like battery registration, oil light reset, enabling courtesy features, setting delays, performing instrument panel self test, module calibration and more. The unit gives access to Ford's KOER and KOEO tests as well as general CEL scanning. The unit has an intuitive touch-only interface with Bluetooth and Wifi connectivity. For all other vehicles this is basically just a very fancy DTC scanner and live data reader, but it still excels at these functions. Ancel offers a version of this with Mercedes software and I believe a Kia version as well. It's an indispensable tool for someone who works on a high volume of a particular make. Hopefully they'll introduce software for other car brands in the future.

Title: Saves a lot of money avoiding mechanics!
Review: Very useful tool to be able to diagnose lights on your car without taking it to the mechanic. This scanner is lightweight, but it is built well. It kind of has a protective case, similar to a kid’s tablet that is FULLY protected in case it drops. The full-system scan was able to give me detailed info about my engine and transmission. I feel like a mechanic myself at home. The best part of this scanner is that it is capable of viewing live data as well as sending input directly to the car! This gives you so much power to test a lot of stuff to narrow down any issues.The tool is simply plug and play. They made it as easy as it can be to do everything yourself at home. When I plugged it in, it was able to automatically pull up my VIN without any manual input. Very reliable scanner for my Ford, recommended.

Title: Great scanner.
Review: This is really simple to utilize and gives shockingly definite and precise investigation of PC issues. My 2015 Portage Flex has spills in the sun rooftop that make the PC breakdown. Title: Wow simply wow!
Review: I've used cheap OBD2 scanners for years...but THIS is not a cheap OBD2 scanner. Tried it on my 2008 Escape and 2023 Edge - worked great on both. The options on this make it one complete tool that does some really amazing things far better than the typical OBD2 reader you might get at the local auto store. If you're not a mechanic you'll notice that there IS a bit of a learning curve for using it, but it's not difficult to understand. The touch screen makes it easy to use.

Title: Easy To Use
Review: This is a good DIY scanner. It has enough functions to do what most DIY users will need and some that are above my head. The screen is easy to read and is responsive. The menu is user friendly and easy to navigate. To test it out I unplugged a injector on my wife's Ram 1500 causing a miss in the engine. The process of diagnosing the issue was easy with this scanner and it let me know exactly which injector was the issue. Scanner price is dictated by screen size and functions. I feel this scanner is a good balance between the two and the price is inline with its functions and screen size. I am happy and I would buy this scanner again. 5 STARS

Title: Works for Ford F150
