LARGE SPHERE ICE CUBE: These ice molds creates 2.5” large round ice cubes. Large ice ball melts slower than regular smaller ice cubes. That way your whiskey or drinks won’t get easily watered down. It helps with keeping your drinking experience refreshing for a longer period of time.
EASY RELEASE: The assembly design makes the release easier than traditional ice cube mold. The bottom part of the ice mold is made of soft silicone. Just squeeze the silicone bottom to easily release the ice ball. Let it sit for 1 minute to make it even easier to be released from the mold!
EASY-FILL DESIGN: The sphere ice cube mold can be separated in the middle which accelerates the water filling process. After opening, you’ll be able to insert your favorite ingredients like vanilla, lemon, mint or any other spice you’d like to freeze your ice ball with. The transparent lid lets you see the water level allowing you to stop filling in time.
SAFE FOOD-GRADE MATERIALS: FOSOE ice ball maker mold made of food-grade materials. It’s BPA Free, hygienic, non-toxic and odorless. Both the silicone and AS material provide superb airtightness which keeps the ice sphere mold from separating when filled with water, giving you a perfectly sphere shaped.

Title: Makes great ice rocks
Review: Got 2 sets of these and they work well. The cap pops off if filled too much because the ice expands up the nozzle, but the round ice rock is great. Easy to extract when you run a little bit of water over the silicone and plastic. Great product and good value.

Title: Allow 15 mins before trying to remove
Review: These huge ice balls are really fun. We love them in a toddy, and our guests love the novelty. The ice balls stay frozen for a long time in your favorite beverage. I took away one star, because the directions do not mention letting the containers thaw for a while. I suggest taking off the cap and letting the containers thaw for 10 to 15 minutes. Wait for the ice to plop out easily.

Title: Great concept. Could be better quality. But makes nice ice.
Review: I love the idea of these ice molds. I love the large round ice balls. However, the materials are cheap- the clear plastic top part is very thin. If you drop one of these frozen, it will completely crack. A thicker plastic top half is necessary. Looks like the seller is trying to use the cheapest materials as possible instead of quality. They are also a bit smaller that I expected. I would like a full 2" round ice cube, or even 2 1/2". The black rubber part on the bottom also is a bit thin. And, as others have noted, you can't fill it up to the top to get a full sphere. But, I have no problem getting the ice out of the mold. A few seconds under warm tap water makes it easy to remove. Not sure how long these will last, but we will see. So far, I'm glad I purchased these. I'd love to get them in a slightly bigger size. And I hope that I won't drop them!

Title: Pros and Cons in review
Review: I already own an all-silicone ice ball tray, but wanted individuals to fit in the door shelf , so I bought this 4-pack in black.My existing mold makes ice balls that I measured at 2.5 inches. The ice balls from this FOSOE set measure 2.25 inches. Here are my Pro's and Con's after some testing.PROs: Individuals are easier for me to fit into the freezer due to space, the smaller ice balls (2.25 inches) fit more of my bar glasses, they are easier to fill than my older mold, and the ice ball is solid when removed for a cocktail.CONs: The plastic lid seems thin, but I figured out some things noted in my "TIPs" section. The clear plastic lid fits to the silicone base through friction instead of being threaded like I had assumed. The rubber cap for the fill spout DOES prevent leakage during normal handling. I wouldn't label this as "Easy Release" because you have to peel the edge of the base away from the ice and push it out from the bottom.TIPs (VERY IMPORTANT STUFF):1. WATER EXPANDS AS IT FREEZES !!!2. When I tested the mold with the rubber cap in place, the pressure of the expanding ice seeped out between the plastic top and rubber base - causing a messy situation. To avoid this, I left the rubber cap OFF and let the ice expand upward. Once frozen, I replaced the rubber cap to prevent the ice from absorbing any food odors.3. For those who (like me originally) found the ice ball hard to extract, run the frozen unit under water to help the release. I didn't want to melt too much ice, so I just set it all on the bar while I gathered my other things (booze, glass, cocktail ingredients, etc). By the time I was ready for ice, it had melted enough to slip out of the mold. OR, if you're warm-blooded, just hold it in your hands for a little while... it'll melt a little, loosen up, and release easier.4. IF you let the molds warm up a little (running water, room temps, or hands), you can separate the halves easier and not feel like it's going to shatter or crack.
