Effective and versatile
The ZappBug Oven 2 is an excellent portable choice for eliminating bed bugs and other pests from smaller items. It can be operated in living rooms, bedrooms, or office settings with the same proven thermal-heating technology as our other ZappBug products. All ZappBug products are heat-only tools to eliminate bed bugs and other pests in all life stages – eggs, nymphs, and adults.
Size and Features
The ZappBug Oven 2 is a portable thermal chamber that will treat items at home, in office, or while traveling. The unit measures 39.5 inches-by-39.5 inches-by-28 inches and is large enough to treat household items such as dining room chairs, shoes, books, papers, clothes, bedding, electronics, or small furniture pieces. It is also an excellent choice for a business to exterminate pests from standard office chairs, small file cabinets, cushions, and other items that bed bugs, insects, and other pests hide.
When traveling for pleasure or business, the ZappBug Oven 2 prevents bed bug infestations from coming home with your suitcase, clothing, blankets, or pillows.
The ZappBug Oven 2 is an outstanding choice for shelters, nursing homes, hospitals, and pest control staff. It is portable and easily stored; it folds flat when not in use. The simple setup and ease of operation make the ZappBug Oven 2 an excellent choice to treat small and medium-sized items.
Peace of mind
Bed bugs have an uncanny ability to adapt to even the newest and most advanced chemical treatments. Heat above 113℉ is one of the few tools that is consistently effective. ZappBug’s programable heaters and wireless thermometer allow you to be certain that items were heated to the appropriate temperature for the desired amount of time.

Features
The ZappBug Oven 2 is a reliable way to kill bed bugs and other pests in all life-cycle stages – eggs, nymphs, and adults using only heat.
Kills bed bugs in all life stages, including eggs, nymphs and adults. Heat based solution: No mixing, measuring, odors, or stains, just heat. Extremely easy to use: Set up, load with items and switch on. Convenient size: Measures 39.5 inches-by-39.5 inches-by-28 One person setup and folds flat for easy storage.
Thermal Units
Each thermal unit includes an integrated programmable timer. Choose between heat cycles of 1, 4, or 8 hours depending on pest and preference.
The thermometer and wireless sensor (included) will allow monitoring of the temperature inside items within the unit. The battery-powered wireless probe sends the temperature reading to the thermometer base station. Once a sustained temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit is reached, bed bugs will die within minutes.
When placing items in the ZappBug Oven 2, it is essential to allow 6-to-12 inches of space between your items and each thermal unit vent. If the vent is blocked, a hazard light and alarm will indicate the unit is beginning to overheat, and the thermal unit will automatically shut down. If the overheat light is on, remove any items blocking airflow from around the thermal unit vent and allow 20 minutes for to cool before restarting the treatment.
Best Practices
Airflow is the key to eradication success. Leave at least 2 inches of space around items for hot air to circulate. All items need to be placed on the included blocks and support net to allow airflow around the bottoms, tops, and sides of items.
It is best to place the ZappBug Oven 2 on a carpet, area rug, or blanket during treatment. Hardwood flooring, linoleum, or concrete will absorb heat from the unit during the treatment. Placing the Oven 2 on a carpet, thick blankets, towels, foam pads, or even cardboard will provide the necessary insulation for effective operation during the thermal treatment.
It is best to load the ZappBug Oven 2 more often with small to medium-sized loads. Large loads take longer periods of time to heat the items and are less efficient.

The ZappBug Oven 2 is designed to eliminate current infestations and prevent problems in the future. The ZappBug Oven 2 can kill pests quickly, reliably, and thoroughly.
The ZappBug Oven 2 can be easily transported and deployed within minutes to eradicate bed bugs, moths, carpet beetles, and other pests without sprays, powders, or similar products.

Title: DO. IT.
Review: I'm a tropical ecologist (in the making to be precise) and I've had a few awful experiences with bed bugs and I TAKE THEM VERY VERY VERY VERY SERIOUSLY. Don't mess around with bed bugs. They are incredibly hard and expensive to get rid of. Overall I've bought two ZappBug ovens (This large one and their smaller unit). I'm still waiting for my big one (more on that later). I've made my bosses buy two of these as well.I trust this company, and their products, 100%. When I was working in Ethiopia the house I stayed at had them... and they followed me around for three months. I hand washed in scalding water everything I could. I wiped down EVERYTHING I OWNED with Ethanol- I mean every little bandage. The process was horrific, especially since I only had one day off a week. I would repeat the process, just in case I missed any, every other Sunday. When I got home I put everything inside my ZappBug RIGHT away. Forgot to even take out the deodorant- I didn't even care. I'm 100% sure that this is the reason why I didn't bring them into my home. Now, whenever anyone in my team travels we come to the lab, take out our samples and Zapp everything. It's effective and so much cheaper than treating your whole house if you get infected. This unit also fits our largest bags and it's incredibly convenient. The smaller one doesn't fit a regular suitcase. I've recently (a day ago) purchased my own home and imagine my HORROR upon discovering four, three-bite, clusters three days before closing. My worst effing nightmare, in my apartment (which I share with two other people), in the USA...Right before I moved into my home. I tried to have my unit from MA shipped to FL but it would have cost $100 dollars. So I splurged on this (buying a home is so expensive so it was truly a splurge). To be honest, though, it's so worth it. This company and their products have brought me, and my team members, so much peace and security. I know I will continue using it whenever I travel. I've given my little unit my sister and her husband who love traveling. Bed bugs are becoming an epidemic and this is your best preventive measure and will facilitate eradication. I also use D-earth powder and rubbing alcohol to wipe down things I can't put in here like ink packages etc. I also use a combination of giant Ziplock bags (never travel without them!). If I have the bugs at home (or think I may) I also use construction grade garbage bags (which I put the ziplock inside of), as bed bugs can get through thinner plastic.

Title: Go on Defence and fight back to get control
Review: First it's big and roomy. I was able to put two dinning room chairs, large book bag, large couch pillows, and a pillowcase full of cloths in the oven. It comes with one wireless thermometer but I bought several extra indoor/outdoor thermometers like this: Taylor 1522 Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer, and placed the temperature sensors deep under layers and folds throughout the contents of bag to monitor the temperatures. The temperature rose quickly inside the over and the thicker items took a little longer to get to the right bug roasting at 120 degrees. Items need to be heated thoroughly internally/externally penetrating the cracks and crevices where bugs hide. So the oven gets to about 145 degrees inside. It recommended that you run the Oven from 4 to 8 hours depending on it contents. There are two included timer units that can be set at adjustable times of when you want heater to shut off.The package contains everything you will need to set it up. It even has an extra extension cord to make sure both heaters are on different circuit outlets. The two heater are small and look like legos to me. They have a switch on the bottom that will automatically turn unit off if knocked over. So, if its not perfectly seated on the switch the units will not power on. The oven heat tunnels made my heaters sit up too high so I had to put something underneath so the switch would make contact with the floor.I bought this because I wanted to be able to put bigger things in oven the just my carry-on luggage. And, to be able to do larger quantities on items that need bug extermination.Overall the ZappBug Oven 2 works very well. It is constructed out of a heavy canvas type of material and space age heat retainers, kind of like a Pizza over bag. It has a wire collapsible frame like you may have seen on some standup laundry bags. This system also allows it to fold down flat and be stored in the included storage bag. It is definitely better than some of the other brands of heating unit sold that I have tried: ThermalStrike Expedition - Bed Bug Heat Treatment. Still need to write a review for that one too. This is the larger unit and they sell smaller and larger units. Find one that meets your needs is recommended by me.

Title: Very effective
Review: I had a bad experience while traveling. I tossed everything in, and it killed everything. I did have a problem with one of the heaters; it kept shutting off. I should have returned it, but I didn't have time; I really needed to use it. I was paranoid after my experience and force people to use it if they're trying to stay overnight at my house.

Title: 100F room
Review: It's not keeping the heat inside the box which is not efficient. Been running this thing a bunch of times today and the room is 100F.Space heaters are cheap. You could build a blanket fortress yourself and put some heaters inside yourself. Boom done. You only need the wireless thermometer. What the frig? Just watch your contraption doesnt burn the house down. Not sure if this is worth the money but to get rid of bed bugs it is if it works.I like the size of it. You could fit a 40 inch flat screen tv in there.Edit: Ok here is the moment you have all been waiting for. Does it kill the bugs? A few of them in there completely dried up that i wiped off the bottom of the oven. ONE OF THEM HIS LEGS WERE STILL MOVING! The thermometer said 140f so im honestly concerned now.

Review: Easy to assemble. The heater container holds a lot of small and big items. The timer went off at the correct time due to the sensor allowing the timer to show you the time, the inside container temperature and the room temperature. I left my items to heat for 8hrs but there are 3 settings 4hrs, 6hrs and 8hrs. I left mine on while I slept and the timer alarm woke me to let me know the treatment was finished.I would reccommend this product to those having bedbug problems (mild to infestation) because when the heat reaches 120 degrees the bugs and their eggs DIE!!! I purchased plastic storage containers from Amazon and everything will be sealed tight in the containers!!WORT THE MONEY! WILL BE USED MANY MANY TIMES- FOR MY PEACE OF MIND!
