The Cat Mod Lift is a great starter package or a way to add a little extra onto your current Cat Mod setup. Our cats love to lounge on these hammocks or use them as steps to get to other pieces on our walls. There are three wooden planks to create two fabric hammocks between, as well as two smaller steps, which attach to the fabric in order to create a ladder for your cat to climb.

With this set, you will be able to create a 16” hammock, with a two-step ladder that can descend or rise up on either end of the piece. The Lift comes in your choice of Unfinished, English Chestnut, or Onyx wood. All sets will come with the canvas color of your choice (second option upon choosing the item) and Nickel mounting hardware.

We use solid wood for the mounting planks and thick heavyweight canvas for the hammock. Brackets come attached for easy installation. All of our furniture also comes with screws for mounting.

Title: excellent quality, cat loves it
Review: I recommend this product. It is well made and looks good. Easy to install with basic tools and a little patience. A favorite place for the cat to lounge and watch her surroundings.Update - I bought a second identical cat hammock to give the cat another higher level to observe her surroundings. The bottom end of the ladder of the second hammock attaches to the hammock end plank of the first to give a continuous climbing experience - up the first ladder to the lower hammock then straight up the second ladder to the higher hammock. As a result of putting the two units together this way I have a spare plank which I can use as a step.

Review: I have this mounted in my eating area where I also have a work place set up. My cat loves to perch and rest on the top level when I work at the table.It is easy to install and I definitely recommend that it be mounted to studs for sturdiness.It took a few days, couple of weeks, for my cat to warm up to it. She's just slow that way with new adventures. Once she got used to it, she races up there when she sees treats placed there or when she wants to be near me, but look down on me as well. Typical cat.My only complaint is that it is rather expensive for just one length of 1x4 cut to size with a length of canvas/denim sandwiched between with mounting brackets. The cost of materials is rather minimal for the price of the item. That being said, although I could have made it myself, it is nice to have something that works and is build solidly. Most important, my cat loves it and it keeps her active with going up and down different heights for exercise and entertainment.

Title: Cat's new favorite hangout
Review: I bought this to give my cat a "stepping stone" to get up on top of a tall bookcase (anchored to the wall for safety!) from other nearby furniture, so she could get her vertical space thing going on. After letting her get used to the shelf's presence for a few days I still hadn't seen her on it so I got her to chase a ribbon toy up on to it and that's all it took. Now it's her new favorite hangout and she loves lounging in the hammock.The item is of good quality and seemed very stable after mounted to the studs in wall. It came with plenty of clear instructions and all the hardware needed. I really liked the Onyx option to match my existing black furniture. It might seem a little pricey for what it is but I'm willing to pay a little more for quality handmade items and to support small businesses. I hope to add a couple more pieces soon to expand it into a little kitty jungle gym since she seems to like it.

Title: Impossible to instal with screws provided.
Review: The screws are way too long, unnecessary for install in studs, couldn’t screw in all the way and therefore couldn’t instal fully. Still sitting in box unused.

Title: a cat dream
Review: quality is great! very sturdy and fun for cats. not only is it super fun for cats but also so nice to go with my room decor/style.my cat is more on the picky side and it can take more time to train him but with treats my cat got so used to climbing on this and now just going on his own. it’s his favorite spot.honestly it’s very sturdy! and easy to assemble

Title: Ten minutes to playtime
Review: My little Olwen (12wk) is in love with this! We needed a way to help her cross from couch to couch, while keeping off the table. Added challenge, she and our dog like to chase each other and play, and vertical escapes were a must. This was easy to install, easy to customize for our needs, and up and running in about ten minutes. The screws and drill bit were included, as well as a level. The canvas and boards are very very sturdy. Our dog stood on one plank (she's about 15lb) and there was no give or droop. Very happy with it and will definitely be back for more!

Title: A lovely little hammock
Review: This is a pretty cool cat hammock. I love how sturdy it is. It is really nice quality, with thick canvas and solid wood. I haven't seen anything like it in the pet stores in our area, where most of the cat furniture is made of plastic and particle board. I like how the unit has one end angled up. Our cat uses it as a stepping stone to get to another shelf, which is much better than her previous clumsy jumps that knocked all my books to the floor.

Title: Where are the instructions?
Review: The concept of flexibility and providing various parts so that the end user and decide their own configuration is neat. However, in practice it was just confusing. I’m busy, I expected some basic instructions on how to setup the basic configuration advertised with this ‘set’. Instead, It came with a postcard essentially telling me to go for it, the possibilities are endless and to make sure I used a stud finder if possible. I’ve come home from work exhausted and looked at this same box of parts for ages now. I don’t have time to let my imagination run wild and create some elaborate cat maze on my wall. I just wanted useful installation instructions

Review: This is a well made product, packaged well, with lots of clear installation instructions including a video (online) to guide you through.I was surprised at how small the “hammock” part is. Maybe I missed measurements in the listing, or maybe I just didn’t make the connection. I have two cats, both Maine Coons, and would easily say this is a fair bit too small for them. We ended up hanging it above their cat perch, so it works more like a stairway to the basement window they like to sit at.I appreciated it being a US made product, and was happy to support a more “local” business than always getting items from overseas.

Review: This set up is a bit pricey, but well worth it.It's made with quality materials, and comes with everything you need to install. Three instructions were clear, and the hardware is solid. I put it up by myself, and it took about 20 minutes.My cats love it and practically live on it now. Love, love, love this purchase.
