Title: This cleared out green pool!
Review: My mom's pool had been green for about a month. I couldn't see the bottom of the pool. Changing up chemicals didn't seem to be working. My cousin recommended Fiber Clear as an addition to her pool sand filter. Within a week of starting Fiber Clear the pool had turned clear again. Trying Fiber Clear was really the only change. I'm very pleased with this product.

Title: Best filter material, great value
Review: Better than DE because it's environmentally friendly. I can backwash onto our planted slope with no adverse effects to plant or animal life. Plus, it's much finer than DE and so the pool sparkles. Only "downside" is that you have to backwash more frequently because the filter is more efficient.

Title: Works well. Requires more frequent backwashing...
Review: We just finished our first bag and it seems to work well. However, we definitely have to backwash more frequently than we did when we used DE. When I clean the filter in the Spring, I'll have a better idea of how well (or not) the backwashing works. With DE, I would have to manually empty and clean the filter media at least once a year.

Title: Size is What is Printed - Not What Shows on the Bag
Review: I order this with great apprehension. The description said the product was 7 lbs of Fiber Clear. This showed to be a great price as I had paid a little more than that for two 3lb bags. Also, the price of Fiber Clear has on other vendors sites on Amazon. My hesitation was that although the site said 7lb, the picture showed a bag that was 9oz. We started using the Fiber Clear about a week ago and so far so good. No problems with the filter and the pool is really clean.

Title: Buy this!! Pool sparkles. Safe material.
Review: This works! Pool sparkles. DE is like tiny glass shards and is not supposed to be inhaled or disposed of in the yard or sewer because it lacerates good worms and all small life. I switched to cellulose a long time ago and it really works. It's easy to clean filter grids right into the yard, no bad effects.Filers out particles very well and I find i have to clean the grids a bit more often... but that's actually a good thing. After cleaning and reassembling the filter turn on the system to add the fiber. Loosen the fiber powder up and measure out fluffy/unpacked cups! (More fiber is NOT better). Put into a bucket the amount as directed, add water and mix into make a thin slurry. Slowly pour into skimmer. That's it.

Review: Works much better than DE in my opinion. Doesn't flow back into the pool and really grabs debris. Pool is looking great.
