CARDONE's extensive experience in testing and engineering CV Drive Axles is the foundation behind our proprietary method of engineering a product that meets and even exceed O.E. performance. We have researched the reasons why original CVs typically fail and designed new solutions to avoid repeat failure. For example, our Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and ozone cracking - the leading cause of boot failure. High-quality grease withstands high-temperature and high-torque demands to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance. Splines are precision rolled to ensure proper fit of CV Drive Axle into the mating hub and transmission, which eliminates installation hassles. Transmission seal diameter is precision-machined after heat treatment to ensure correct surface finish, promoting long seal life. Additionally, all CV Drive Axle shafts are individually verified for straightness, resulting in vibration-free performance at all speeds.
Proprietary engineering processes ensure that all CV Drive Axles meet OE form, fit and function
Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and cracking, which is the leading cause of boot failure
An axle retaining nut is supplied with every unit for a hassle-free installation, due to the likelihood that the original retaining nut is worn or stripped
CV Drive Axle measurements are validated after assembly to ensure a proper fit; Threads are precision rolled to ensure proper fit when axle nut is installed
Boot clamps are pneumatically crimped, creating a perfect seal between the boot and housing

Title: Perfect fit - UPDATE
Review: Update- MY TRANSMISSION IS NOW FAILING because after a month, I drove as normal and all of my transmission fluid has leaked from the CV axle. Installed by licensed me hanic and now I have no idea of my vehicle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IF YOU DRIVE A 2012 NISSAN ROUGE!I love that Amazon has the option to add your car. I have never had the selection choices fail me, if it said it fit my vehicle, it fit. Thanks Amazon!

Title: Crap Fit and Support - Started clanking less than a year after install
Review: We had the boots on our Nissan Rogue split after 160k miles. Not wanting to, we elected to replace the OEM with a Cardone unit that was promised to fit like OEM. They worked fine for a little and then we started to have clanking in the driveline. After trying to get a warranty from Cardone and being denied since the purchase was over a year ago we ordered a Duralast rebuilt. Comparing the splines on the two there is an obvious difference (see image - right is Cardone we pulled after a year and left is newly rebuilt Duralast). Other than that we didn’t bother to rip apart the joint to inspect the ball, cage, and housing for wear.Given the response we got from Cardone when we asked about a warranty for a unit just out of warranty, the obvious design differences, and the fact the unit failed at around a year after install, we cannot endorse this product or Cardone. If you are from Cardone we retained the part to show this issue on our YouTube channel and you are free to reach out to us and discuss. We recommend you go for an OEM rebuilt part that has a lifetime warranty! We also recommend you meticulously compare shaft and spline anatomy and ensure they match the OEM exactly.
