Title: Great fit and sound dampening
Review: I work at a pet salon and am surrounded by velocity dryers and barking dogs every day. I was using a borrowed pair of Walker's Razors but decided to get my own ear muffs. I liked that these lower the decibel level a little more than the Walker's, and got a great deal on them for prime day. I've worn them at work for a few days and they're awesome and easy to wear without giving me a headache from pressure or pressing on my glasses or ear piercings. They seal over my ears well even with the glasses on. Not sure yet how well they'll endure daily use over a long period of time, but for the price range I feel like they're worth trying out.

Title: Slim and quiet
Review: Let me start with saying that I am required to wear hearing protection for the duration of my shift (8-10 hours) I was a fan of another in-ear banded (orange) but the replacement ear buds are hard to find. At the time, this product was having a deal. I was leary on the 34db as I thought they may be too quiet. As it turns out, perfect for my situation. Airplane noise, APU, ground equipment, etc. QUIET! I can still hear a conversation within 3 feet, more importantly can hear my radio without the use of another type of in-ear monitor. Best part, no more intrusive ear bud end applying pressure to my inner ear. The quality of the ear surround is good, comfortable. There is an ease of "folding" for storage when not in use and a quick "unfold" to place back on. As well, the tension is great if you wanted to wrap around arm or leg or even pivot 90 degrees to keep on your head when not using for purpose. I thought I would want an electric "noise cancelling" feature, but with this product, not needed. Overall great buy. I have recommended to co-workers who had the orange band and I'm see more "PRO FOR SHO" on their heads.

Title: Effective but uncomfortable for me
Review: I have been doing a lot of woodwork lately with a buddy, a couple of projects around the house. I had a couple of my fiance's earplugs she uses when her dad stays with us (he saws more logs in his sleep than I could do in a lifetime awake), but some of the tools were getting through the ear plugs so I decided to hunt for a solution. When I had shop classes we were always given earplugs in the shop so I sought the best noise-dampening earplugs I could find. I turned to Flents Quiet Time ear plugs (Amazon Item B07HHXGPW6). They were effective when inserted properly, but unfortunately they often worked their way out of proper insertion and were therefore far less effective. But they were $15 bucks for 70 pairs, so I figured I could keep them for my buddies when they work on stuff with me, but I knew these earplugs weren't the everyday option I was looking for. I had seen other options when searching, so I took to the web again.I pulled up other earplugs on Amazon, and the suggested links had earmuffs. I remember seeing them on children at concerts, so I clicked on a couple. (Good enough for developing ears, good enough for mine, right?) All the noise ratings were higher than industrial earplugs and the price was still in that $10-$20 range. I bought a couple of them to test by Pro For Sho (Amazon Item B017RZ45F6) and ClearArmor (Amazon Item B00NKSMPZW).The Pro For Sho is a good set. They're sleek-looking and they fold relatively compact when not in use. I think they muff noise better than the Flents earplugs even when the earplugs are properly inserted. However, I felt that they were tight. They aren't bad for a few minutes at a time, but I did feel the pressure with sustained use. My buddy tried them for a day and said he didn't have that problem, so maybe I just have sensitive temples? For the record, my cap size is S/M and his is M/L.The ClearArmor is a GREAT set. They aren't as low-profile as the Pro For Sho, but frankly no ear muff is going to be invisible; it's not about looking cool, it's about being safe, right? Plus they also fold on the same mechanism that the Pro For Sho does, so they also fit in storage easily. They muffed sound about the same as the Pro For Show, but I could almost forget they were on. The ear pad is soft and comfortable, the headband didn't feel too tight at all, and I could and did wear them all day in the shop.I was going to return the Pro For Sho in favor of the ClearArmor, but my buddy said he would take them. So in the end I guess they were both good buys, just not for me. The earplugs weren't a bad buy--they'll get used--but I won't buy them again.PS if you want all kinds of ear protection, pair the earplugs with the muffs. The internet says it adds something like +5 NRR to the one with the highest rating. I don't know numbers like that, but I did give it a try with the earplugs inserted poorly and the earmuffs on and it was super effective. If I had some comfortable earplugs that stayed in, it would be easy to see myself using both when working on the loudest-of-loud tools in the shop.Ultimately:Flents Quiet Time (Amazon Item B07HHXGPW6): 3 stars. Effective but iconsistent.Pro For Sho (Amazon Item B017RZ45F6): 4 stars. Effective but uncomfortable.ClearArmor (Amazon Item B00NKSMPZW): 5 stars. Effective and comfortable.

Title: Works good
Review: I like them they work good really reduces loud sound. Very tight fit though, definitely need to stretch them out on the box for a long time as the instructions suggest. Although it is good to have a tight fit which is why I bought these new ones as my old pairs where not fitting tight enough anymore. I would recommend this product.

Title: Good for the price
Review: These work well enough but my biggest concern is that they are pretty difficult to unfold correctly. I fumble with them every time because they keep flipping around and snapping back into the folded position before I can get them on my head.

Review: After spending Saturday afternoon for 3 hours with a backpack blower - my ears were SERIOUSLY ringing - like being at a loud concert as a teenager. They were thicker than they appeared in the photos and left side does fold back into collapsible format as it did when out of the box. I give it a 2 in the review because the ad says "dB â Highest Hearing Protection Ratio Earmuffs Help Silence Your World â In A Snap â. My husband is a hunter and he kept saying - buy "Peltor" - so I guess this is my next step, because losing hearing over yardwork is not worth it.

Review: My wife and I are both musicians, and need to be careful about our hearing. We would not vacuum, for example, without using hearing protection. But all the headphone types of protection -- and we have four pairs from different makers, including the "big names" -- have one thing in common: they press so hard on the sides of your head, on your jaw muscles etc., that the discomfort and headaches they cause make them impossible to use for more than a few minutes. The only exception, the real answer to this problem, is the Pro For Sho ear protectors. They do not put your head in a vise, and it is even possible to loosen them by keeping them open for a while. Tried that with a pair of 3m and the headband snapped in two!Pro For Sho protectors are _comfortable_ and they do the job better than the others. Because you can wear them for as long as you want, you will use them more.Haven't measured the spl reduction, but I can hear a difference of .5dB change of loudness in music; these do reduce loudness to the point where it will not harm your hearing, and the noise is reduced over a wide frequency spectrum as well.I just received my second Pro For Sho hearing protectors -- when something is this good, you want to have a backup!

Review: I ordered two sets of these for shooting on May 24th and only one of the two has arrived and only last week. I took these out to the range and they are alright but nothing special. The shipping has taken months and I couldn't keep waiting forever so I bought some electronic shooting earmuffs and prefer them much more over these. At first they fit tight on your head but clamp them on the box and after a couple days they should get better. I wouldn't bother buying these again.

Review: I bought these for shooting, why? for the 34 D B protection. I also bought a cheaper pair as a spare, different make and half the cost £16.95. The only difference between the two, a second layer of thin sponge, cost around 2 pence a side. These say on the net for shooting..... when mine arrived on the back of the box it states may not be an accurate indicator of protection against noise such as gunfire...believe me there is no difference between these and the cheaper ones I bought with 22 D B for shooting. This is not a good product if you want to protect your hearing while shooting.

The soft ear pads and headband don't feel too tight. Many consider them a good value for the price, providing decent hearing protection. However, opinions differ on how well the earmuff fits.
