Title: Works great!
Review: Product works as advertised. It is important to follow the instructions that come with it. The panels come in vacuumed packages and thus are heavily compressed and seem very thin. They need to be expanded to gain original size. I didnât follow the instructions and put them in to a laundry dryer set at delicate for about 4 min. That did the trick. If necessary you can repeat the process. I recommend to start with only one panel to check the process. Then I did 3 panels at the time so it doesnât get too crowded and the panels have room to expand. After installing the panels in a cabinet containing a subwoofer it practically eliminated walls vibration behind.I recommend the product.

Title: These are not 2" in height as advertised
Review: I purchased 12 panels for speaker boxes I was building. I built the boxes with the dimensions of theses panels in mind. The insulation came in two vacuum sealed bags with 6 panels each. They were very compressed, maybe 1/2" tall for 6 panels 2" in height, so 12" to 1/2" compressed. I left the panels out overnight to let them expand, but none ever reached the 2" height they advertised, several sections barely reached 1". The tallest any of them got to was @1 3/4". The height of the sound insulation plays a big roll in it's affectiveness to stop distortion, so not meeting or exceeding the 2" is an issue.

Title: Nicer than what already had.
Review: These are nice. Originally paid $19.99 for 12-pack but the price has since gone up which Iâm not happy about since I was planning to get more. The product didnât come with any sticky tabs. Installation is easyâ¦I use t-pins to attach them to my wall (will leave tiny holes in dry wallâ¦youâve been warned) and they are very secured in place. I got these for decorative purposes and to hopefully deaden some sound. The quality of the foam is pretty good and thick for the 2-inch. They come compressed for ease of shipping; must open the package and let air re-inflate them. They arenât perfect (a few had bad end cuts) but they work so Iâm keeping them. Will purchase againâ¦eventually.

Title: Gotta put then in dryer ðð½
Review: A Lotta people are disappointed by how thin these things "start", I know I was until I came on here and read a wise man's comment about the dryer, gave it a try and I'm happy now ð¤ð½ thank you brotha for sharing that review, and I'm gonna share it just in case someone doesn't scroll back that far and find the other shared cure ð yep, will probably stick better to sticky pads while warm also ðð½ PUT THEM IN THE DRYER FOR 5 MINUTES, TAKE ALL THEM OUT, INSPECT THEM, PUT THEM BACK IN FOR LIKE 4 MINUTES, TAKE OUT AND INSPECT THEM AGAIN, I HAD 1 LEFT THAT WAS STILL THIN, 4 MORE MINUTES FOR THAT SINGLE ONE AND BAM THEY ARE ALL THICK NOW, (((PLEASE DONT LEAVE DRYER UNATENDED DURING CURING OF FOAM IN DRYER)))

Title: Meh.
Review: These acoustic foam panels are okay for what they are, but they didnât quite meet my expectations for soundproofing, especially in NYC apartments with thin drywalls where sound easily travels. If youâre looking to truly soundproof a room, youâll need way more than 5 packsâprobably closer to double or triple that. That said, they do make for nice decoration. The wedge design gives the walls a cool, modern look, and they might help a little with echo reduction, but theyâre not a complete solution for blocking noise. One thing to note is the strong, toxic smell when you first unpack them to hydrate. I definitely recommend wearing a mask and running an air purifier for a while to clear the airâitâs pretty overwhelming at first.Overall, these panels are fine if youâre using them for aesthetic purposes or minimal sound adjustment, but if you need serious soundproofing, youâll want to look into heavier-duty options.

Title: These work great in my vocal booth
Review: Overall these were a great purchase. I used adhesive and put them in the ceiling of my vocal booth. They do come very vacuum sealed and sucked down to just a few inches thick, meaning they'll need to expand before you can use some if not all of them. I've seen people saying they won't expand back to normal. I have found the easiest way to get them back into shape and get rid of some of that chinese factory smell, is to put about a dozen at a time in the clothes dryer on low for 5 minutes and add another 5 as needed until they return to normal. You may have a few edges or in my case, corners that needed a kick in beanbags with a hair dryer or heat gun on lowest setting to get them to expand. It does take keeping the heat on the edge for a few seconds, so don't move it back and forth too fast. You will soon notice that like some people, it will slowly creep back into its proper shape when sufficiently heated. For installation I used 3M Super77 spray adhesive and gave the back of each tile a light coating, 3 at a time. While they were getting tacky, I measured out the approximate area in the booth and gave it a light coating as well. When both surfaces were tacky, it was go time! Keep in mind these will shrink a bit, maybe 3mm, in the first few days, so pack 'em tight to each other to help counter this issue. So far their performance has been as expected. Nothing to complain about here. I would recommend these to anyone who read down to this point in the review.Peace out!

Customers say
Customers appreciate the sound insulation, functionality, and appearance of the product. They find it effective in reducing noise and echo, and they are pleased with how easy it is to install. However, some customers feel the thickness is not dense enough to make a difference. There are mixed opinions on the adhesive effectiveness.
