Title: Really good pickups
Review: Loving the sound of these pickups. Its very easy to install. Only thing I had to do was solder the wires off the switch to be able to feed through the holes.

Title: Incredible for the money
Review: Big sound for the money. Neck pickup is a little muddy initially but after adjusting pickup height and EQ settings (pulling back on low ends a little), these sound fantastic and even (not muddy and not too bright). I’m amazed that these are really good quality at this price. And to have the whole kit assembled already??? Amazing. I installed into a ‘78-9 Hondo II LP style guitar. I also soldered the ground from the bridge onto the back of one of the tone pots. It was easy to do (my first time soldering anything). They are a bit fragile I guess, as one wire broke off a solder joint from the volume pot as I was moving wires around, but not a big deal to solder back on.

Title: Good deal.
Review: These are great for the money. They sound good. However, I doubt they're really epis at this price. But for the price for the package they're great. They are really wax-potted if your wondering. They're clean sounding and I have no issues with the pots being crackely or anything. Be aware tho you didn't get real independent volume control for each pickup unless you wanna move a few wires. The coil tapping works great and the switches feel nice and smooth. So again for $75 you're getting a bargain on a whole package ready to install. They're good quality, I doubt they're authentic tho. I could be wrong, but that doesn't matter to me if they work

Title: Easy installation, excellent sound
Review: Picked up a used epi lester because it played real nice, but the bridge pickup was a bit lifeless. Got these, and wow, what a difference. Sound fantastic and the coil split is a nice addition.The hardest part of the installation was getting the pickups in the frames, and fighting with those springs. I've never swapped parts on a guitar before, but with the solder-less connections it was a breeze. The only connection that needed solder was the ground wire.My only complaint was no instructions, it wasn't that hard to figure out, but instructions would have saved me some trial and error, a simple mistake, and about 15 minutes. I'll take 1/2 star away for that, so call it 4 1/2 stars.

Title: Great sounding alnico pickups that truly rival the more expensive competitors.
Review: For a bargain price, you get completely pre-wired set of true alnico pick-ups that are very easy to install and once installed, I’d challenge anyone to tell the difference between these and their much more expensive Gibson counterparts. Great looks and sound quality plus ease of installation at a bargain price. What more could you ask for? Five stars!

Title: Prewiring with connectors made installation easy...
Review: Only reason I gave this kit 4 stars is a lack of instructions. There are no instructions, so you have to guess what goes where but otherwise have connectors prewired made installation very easy. It was the reason I purchased this kit. There are other kits that are less expensive, I had purchased one previously and attempted installation. However with all the cutting and required soldering in a tight space it was just difficult to do. Using the connectors provided in this kit solved all that. Only soldering was the bridge ground wire.

Title: Authentic Epiphone Probuckers
Review: These appear to be authentic Epiphone Probuckers in new condition. The price represents a great value considering these will cost you at least $100 from Epiphone or Gibson, if you can even get them. And that is just for the pickups. The installation is almost entirely plug and play and, contrary to what others have said, the bridge and neck pickups are Probucker 2 and 3 and are clearly marked as such including which is for the neck and for the bridge positions.

Review: These are an absolute bargain! Genuine Epiphone Probuckers and they sound awesome. They come from the USA and arrive fast, they are pre-wired and ready to install. The pots are the old style Korean pots not cts ones but the pickups are the same as the ones in the epiphone pro guitars. These are the perfect budget upgrade for the standard epiphone pickups and they sound ten times better and give you the split coil option which also sounds awesome.

Review: Fairly straight forward to install. Installed on a 70’s vibra les paul copy. Makes the guitar sound a lot better. I did have to use the original pickup frame/ covers as the ones these probuckers come with are for a epiphone/ gibson concave top which didn’t fit the contour of this old vibra LP. I also had to trim a little bit out of the back of the selector switch hole so the nut could grab the threads with the washer. Again its an upgrade to an old guitar. Other than that sounds great for a budget reborn guitar.

Review: The kit is incomplete. The pictures show the volume and tone pots with the appropriate hardware to install yet surprise surprise they are not included in the kit. Everything else seems to be ok except this. Now I will have to purchase these and wait and then install…… time will tell if the assembly connected will last as decoupling connectors is not ideal as it weakens the connections somewhat.
