Title: Beautiful body
Review: This body looks great, and the finished guitar is now my favorite in my collection, my prized possession. I used the neck from a beat up 2007 MIM Standard and it fit perfectly. I ordered the 005-469-000 Fender vintage bridge/trem and the screw holes were perfectly aligned. Keep in mind that the stock bridge from a MIM Standard or Player model WILL NOT WORK with this body without modification. The new bridge was around $25. The sound is better than the original body with the same pickups and electronics. The finish is flawless, no imperfections.I was quite pleased that Amazon offers an interest free payment option, so I was able to put $50 down with 4 monthly payments of $50. I’m probably going to use that to get the Telecaster body I want for a Partscaster build too.Summary; I LOVE THIS GUITAR! And it’s so much more valuable to me because I assembled it.

Title: Perfect body. Perfect finish. 2 3/16 bridge holes. Genuine fender . Can't be beat!
Review: This body is very well built and the finish is flawless. The wood grain looks as if it was one piece even though it isn't. Comes in genuine fender box. My 22 fret usa maple neck fit perfectly without and modifications. It takes the vintage 2 3/16" bridge screw pattern so pay attention to that. Pickup cavities are tight so your wiring must be routed perfectly but that's a good thing in my opinion. The more wood left the better. My advise buy a genuine american standard fender pick guard and back cover. You need to drill your own holes and if you use a knock off pick guard as a guide to drill the body you might end up with a strange hole pattern and regret it later. It is full size thickness like the usa bodies should be. It's thicker and heavier then the newer mim strat bodies. Feels and plays just like a vintage American strat when built correctly. I absolutley love it !

Title: Great project
Review: It’s a high quality Fender Stratocaster body. Everything fit like it should. Trem claw holes, b neck mount holes, bridge posts, and end pin holes are all pre-drilled. The output jack, trem spring cover, and pickguard are not.

Title: Updated Review - Fender parts are the best!
Review: This is my second body, first one was just excellent I just needed a lighter one for build. I returned first and second one came in, just as excellent but the right weight for my needs.I have to say, the Fender products are just consistently excellent overall. You want the best, get the original. All parts I used are Fender and fit together perfectly, zero issues. Just spend the extra and get the Fender, it's worth it.

Title: Awesome body!
Review: Great MIM guitar body! Replaced my purple MIM strat body with this black one. All of the holes line up great. By the way, for any curious folks out there, and maybe the seller or manufacturer can help me with this one... The 1998-1999 Mexican strat that I have has a 2 and 1/16th inch bridge mount spacing, but this body has either a 2 and 3/16th or 2 and 7/32nd. I'm really not sure which it is, I need to order a new bridge, but in the mean time I machined my current MIM bridge to kind of slot out / widen the screw holes and allow me to install it anyway. This was the only real set back form me, everything else swapped right over. All holes are drilled except for pickguard, back tremolo springs cover, and jack input cover screws. Great body, beautiful finish!

Title: Parts did not fit correctly
Review: None of my parts fit on the guitar correctly. I don't not know if i got a defective one or not but i have the correct bridge with the correct spacing and i could not get it to screw in all the way. Also the right claw screw on the back was not screwing in easily. My loaded pickguard did not sit flush on the body as well and i do not understand why as it is SSS. Im upset and i hope my return will be fulfilled because i already drilled output jack holes. I was not expecting things to not fit and i was hoping to just drop everything in and screw it down, but that was not my experience.

Title: Fender Strat Body - Candy Apple Red
Review: Recently I decided to build my own guitar; having had Strats for years all store bought, I've learned to maintain them and keep them at their best. I have to say I was surprise with this purchased, it more than meets my expectations hence the 5 stars. The guitar is a vintage style body from 1999 (yes it is a 1999 as it is labeled) from Fender Instruments in Scottsdale Arizona. Very hard to find from this year. Some reviews says that it is misaligned, it is not. I have a 1999 American standard and compared it to this body and it matches perfectly, remember the offset is there for a reason.

Review: Replaced a cheapo body with this one on my partscaster. Sets up easy, all parts fit easy. Used Fender parts only. Note you need a 50s or 60s Vintage Fender Tremolo to allign the pre drilled holes. Drilling the holes for plastics is easy. Worth every penny.

Customers say

Customers appreciate the guitar's build quality, finish, and fit. They find the body flawless with a beautiful sunburst finish and nice alder wood. Many like the Fender body and value for money. However, some dislike scratch resistance, while opinions differ on drilled holes and match accuracy.
