Title: Great Product but BE AWARE OF THE MISLEADING TITLE
Review: Product itself is of good quality. However, the title and imagery is VERY misleading. This is only for the 10" version of the whip. Why they tell you all the different sizes and show a picture of all the varying sizes when ONLY selling the 10" is beyond me. They could at least add a drop-down box to select the size - THEN this wouldn't be nearly as misleading.(They've fixed their title after I submitted a complaint to Amazon. Again, great product for the price especially... just not exactly what I was expecting, based on their title original title, when I ordered it.)

Title: Great for cheap. NOT cheaply made
Review: The whip is great but it didn't fit my follow focus. It's super tight. The ball fittings that keep the ball joints in the the end come up a bit and scrape the inside of the square hole of my follow focus(I don't care about that.) the thing I was concerned with was it not fitting inside all the way and then creating a shift while spinning. That caused a non fluid movement. I milled down the inside of my FF and all it well. I just that it was a standard size.

Title: First Unit Defective, Replacement OK
Review: These are low cost Chinese whips. The first one I received had a couple of defects. The design includes a crimped-in washer to hold the retaining bearing in place. On the first unit, that washer protruded and kept the end from being inserted into the follow focus. Also, the first unit had a fairly heavily abraded plastic sheathing. It would still have operated, if not for the other problem, but pretty sloppy. The packaging wasn't damaged at all, so someone placed it in a package with very apparent damage.Also, the shipping was really slow. I don't recall precisely, but perhaps a few weeks or more. I've ordered other products to be shipped from China that were received quite promptly.I sent the company detailed photos and they politely agreed to send a replacement. They didn't require the original unit to be returned. The replacement unit is fine. I'd probably have given it a rating of 4 stars, but for the poor quality control. Since the final unit works acceptably, it would be a value, but be prepared for trouble and you'd better not order from these guys if you're in a hurry.

Review: These follow focus whips are well made and fit well with my follow focus units. Unfortunately, the wire is way too stiff. More flexible wire doesn't transmit unwanted movement from your hand to the FF, and then your camera. This is so stiff that it doesn't really isolate hand movement from the shot. If they just changed to a softer wire then they'd be the best cheap FF whips available.
