Review: I purchased these glasses because they remind me (they may actually be) of the glasses used at The Modern restaurant in New York City. For reference, if you watched the Sex and the City Movie it’s the restaurant where Carrie tells Miranda and Charlotte she’s engaged (watch Miranda pick up glass). I know these are for bourbon but I use it for mineral water. It’s the perfect size to pour some cold bubbly and a wedge of citrus. The weight is pretty nice as is the slight curve of the glass — it’s simply Botticelliesque. I poured about an 11 oz bottle of fizz water and it seemed to almost not fit so it may be a an ounce or two smaller than stated size. The hubs will probably be annoyed with yet another set of glasses but they are so pretty I think he’ll get over it.
