Title: Amazing vinyl pressing!
Review: In a day where I feel like vinyl records are being mass produced and cheaply manufactured, I was a bit hesitant to purchase one of my favorite hip-hop albums on wax. Thankfully, the records are heavy duty (super thick) and there are no skips. It sounds absolutely bonkers on my turntable!! I get chills when "Speak Ya Clout" and "Mass Appeal" come on. The records are cream colored too and they look neat while the record is playing. Don't miss out on this quality record while supplies last!

Review: This is my first intro to Gang Starr so I started with "Hard To Earn" for no particular reasons other than some good reviews here. I always loved the track "Above The Clouds", only because it appeared as the first track on the "Wu-Chronicles:Chapter 2" album with Inspectah Deck. I like a lot of hip-hop whether it's gangsta, experimental or positive /educative rap such as The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Common. Now I'm putting Gang Starr in this latter category. Yet at the same time the beats by DJ Premiere are hard and smooth all at the same time. I love MC Guru's voice, his monotone voice fits perfectly with his no nonsense style of writing and way of telling a story. Like, "Here, listen to this knowledge". And just puts it down with ease and emotion. Listen to "The Planet", a track about Guru leaving his hometown and making it on his own in Brooklyn. It's dynamic and special, and comes from the heart. Other great tracks like, "Tonz 'O' Gunz", is more relevant today more than ever. "Mass Appeal",and "Suckas Need Bodyguards" is all about the music and not the fame or attention. Everything here is great, except for the track "Aiiight Chill..." which is nothing but recorded messages to Premiere. I will definitely be buying all their albums. New fan for life here, check it out.

Title: Not Hard to Earn 5 stars
Review: Not much more you can say about this classic. This album came out at a time when albums still mattered. From start to finish it doesn't disappoint. RIP Guru.
