Title: Exceeded my expectations!
Review: I know, it doesn't have as many things as some of the other brands,, amps and stuff. I get it. Heck, maybe even a couple of amps or effects aren't as good? I dunno. I don't care. The UI is fantastic. the tone and feel are so nice. A few small tweaks, and half an hour navigating and you'll be building great sounding presets. Then, if you're like me, you forget you're playing a modeler and you get lost playing... For hours!I've used it through two PAs, an FR-12 and a JBL Eon610 (PA speaker). It just sounds fantastic through all of them! It's funny, I kinda whined for about five minutes about how small the manual is... but, then I realized there are so many new features, amps, effects and stuff coming out every six months or so... They probably just can't keep up!The Bluetooth Control App is fantastic. It has been rock solid as far as connection. It's just a joy.Anyways, back to playing!

Title: Half baked compared to the Boss GT-1000
Review: Many of the sounds are very good on the Tone Master Pro, but compared to my 2018 Boss GT-1000 the features are severely compromised. I guess that makes it lot more user friendly, though...The Fractal FM9 is quite awesome, but I'm waiting for the next iteration of the GT-1000 series to choose my next do-it-all floor FX.

Title: Incredible Tone and Versatile System
Review: I own several different multi effects processors. I own the Boss GT-1000, Boss SY,1000, Boss GR-55, The Tonex by IK media, a few different Line 6 pedals, and more. Each and every pedal is different, and each one has different ways it can be programmed to make your own tones. I purchased the Fender Tone Master Pro about 6 months ago. As far as amp modeling goes the Tone Master has some great amps. The fender amps are all spot on accurate. I have played through the real Fender amps for years and I can sense no difference. I could not hear any difference between the fender acoustic model with the real fender acoustic amp. All the fender amps are excellent. I played through the Roland Jazz chorus amp model, and it sounded exactly like the real Jazz Chorus I played through. The cool thing about this is that I made acoustic guitar presets and Bass presets that sound wonderful. In fact, those instruments sound better plugged into the Tone Master when compared to all the other multi effects pedals I have. It is an easy setup when I play out somewhere. I just plug into the main mixing board and go. I donât use an amp anymore. The other thing that I like about the pedal is that it is super easy to program. In fact, it is the easiest by far to understand and program. Features that are found on the Quad Cortex can be found in this pedal. For example, you can use the foot switches as knobs when controlling the amps and various pedals. It has 8 cores for processing, while most of the other pedals have 4 cores. You can find reverb features similar to the Big Sky reverb built into this pedal as well. The point is, it has the great features found in other pedals blended into this one pedal. Now for the negative part or the things I donât like. First, it is expensive when compared to other pedals. The Line 6 Helix, and the GT-1000 are cheaper, and both pedals are awesome. Second thing is that there is no built-in expression pedal. That is going to be a separate purchase, which means your total investment is going to be a few hundred dollars more. If you want a wah pedal or a volume pedal, you will need the expression pedal. Some people complain about the Tone Master having a horrible tone and as I read through some reviews I find that they are plugging it into a regular guitar amp. These things donât sound the best they can sound plugged into a regular guitar amp. This means you will need to plug into a PA system or get a special speaker called an FRFR Speaker. This drives the total investment even higher. Fender makes a special speaker to go with it, but it is too expensive, and it is lacking in features. You are better off buying the Headrush speaker or a self powered PA speaker. All of this may add up to more money than you want to spend. To be fair, the FRFR speaker should be used with other multi effects pedals too in order to get a more realistic amp model. The other thing I noticed is that I can hear a slight difference between the Mesa Boogie amp models and the real Mesa Boogie amps. Although firmware updates have brought it closer to the real thing. The Boogie amp models are still very good, but they donât sound as authentic as the real thing. The Tone Master is not really finished in its development. Firmware updates keep adding more and more features, and when you first get it, you will need to make sure you have the latest firmware updates. Once again, to be fair, most of the other multi effects pedals do this too. Boss just released a firmware update for the GT-1000 a few months back that is really good. I will say that for now, the Fender Tone Master has better reverb than any other pedal I played through, but that could change depending on the firmware updates these other pedals do. The Tone Master has the ability to create really good ambient sounds. Other pedals can do this too for a cheaper price. If your only style of music is Metal, then you may be happier with a different pedal. But if you are looking for a pedal that will handle Bass, acoustic, and electric guitars clean or distorted. If you are looking for one pedal that will be great for Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz, Rock, Folk, and Acoustic finger style. Then this pedal is worthy of your consideration. I would recommend it.
