Title: fair keyboard for beginner
Review: This is a beginners/hobby keyboard. Its clever folding design is useful for portability. However the small, cheap plastic clip that connects the two halves is a major fail in this design. 1. susceptible to being lost its so small and 2. easily broken. Its a poor design really for a folding keyboard. Itsnot a deal breaker since you can simply place on a solid table or stand, you wont notice it. But in my stand, the weight and balance of the keyboard without that clip in place results in the keyboard wanting to fold back up. Documentation on the keyboard is very weak if nonexistent, so you will want to be educated in more advanced usage such as MIDI and PC connectivity. The keys are OK, they do feel "lightweight" but they are easy to play, and respond to variations in pressure and intensity. Battery life is good and recharges quickly. The pedal is pretty lame -- its basic and works, but nothing at all like a good piano pedal. The headphones are also cheap, they work for whats intended, but not very comfortable long-term. Overall Im pretty surprised with the capabilities this keyboard offers. Having something easily transportable and battery powered is great for learning wherever you go. But for advanced players, I think the feel and function of the keys you will be wanting a better quality device.

Title: Very fully featured
Review: It is never too late to start learning an instrument, and this is a great choice for a beginner. It is loaded with features, many of which you will probably never use. It can connect to peripherals using Bluetooth, MEDI, and 3.5mm aux both for input and output. Hopefully you never end up in a situation where you need to use a folding keyboard as a speaker system, but you can.The keys feel very nice. They have a subtle wood grain texture despite being plastic. The weighted effect works well, with the keys responding to both how fast and how deep they are pressed. It is big at 50 inches. So you will need to make sure you have space for it. I had to reconfigure my desk to make it fit.The locking mechanism is very sturdy (Almost too sturdy, getting it locked and unlocked takes serious fingertip strength), and there is a little clip that can be added to the front to further reinforce it.It comes with dinky little headphones, but any 3.5mm headphone will work with it. TRRS connectors work fine as well as standard TRS plugs. Make sure to use the "PHONE" output which has more output power than the "OUT".It comes with a lot of accessories, but they all fit in the provided carrying case, even the music holder stand. These include a dedicated charger, but it can be charged by any 5V 2A USB charger. It includes a USB-C to USB-B cord, which is rare and useful. You should have a drawer full of USB-A to USB-B cables if you need one. There are various apps that you can use for learning. Since it supports MIDI over USB and Bluetooth, you can use just about any app on a smartphone or computer.

Title: Perfect Portable Piano
Review: I had to get rid of my piano a few years ago when we moved. I have played since I was a little girl and I have missed playing very much. A lot of keyboards do not match the feel of actual piano keys or have very good sound so I was skeptical when I ordered this one, while being excited and hopeful at the same time. I am VERY pleased with this keyboard. I was not sure about it being able to fold up in the middle, but when it is open, you can't even tell and it does not affect it in any way.It is heavy in that it is sturdy, but not so heavy that carrying it in the bag is difficult. I would be careful when transporting it, or course, but most musicians are quite careful with their instruments. The keys are semi-weighted so they do not feel like actual piano keys, but also not so light like keyboard keys often are and it is much easier to adapt to playing. It has all the keyboard features like a built-in metronome and percussion sounds, demo play and so on. It comes with a music rack, which you can see in the second photo. It also comes with instructions and stickers to label the keyboard for beginners and headphones so you can play anytime without bothering fellow household members or neighbors!Perfect for traveling musicians, students, or anyone who loves to play, wants to learn and can't afford or have the space for a piano. So happy to be playing music again!

Title: In tune and works well enough
Review: This 88-key semi-weighted keyboard is a good keyboard for the price says my friends and family who know how to play piano. Iâm trying to learn to play piano, so I had to rely on those who know what a piano should play like. We have a real upright piano, but I got this so I can wear the headphones and not bother others while I practiced. Apparently, the organ is in tune, but does not mimic the other instruments well. Also, the music desk does not hold the sheet music well, and part of the organ that allows the keys to be aligned broke off. This is not a bad thing because without the part breaking off, I would not have been able to attach the alignment key (a very small part). A word of caution, donât discard the pedal which is attached to the Styrofoam packaging, or you might think itâs never shipped. Everything else worked well, and Iâm happy with the keyboard.
