Title: It's leak proof. Will not go through the plastic back.
Review: 100% leak resistant. I use it for my husband who had a stroke. It holds a good amount. I sleep confident that the pad will protect the bed. I place several in case but only the one he is on gets wet the others stay dry.

Title: strong underpad!
Review: I've been looking at many underpads, using them like crazy. This is the ONLY one that can take a beating. As a comparison, think of the difference between cheap paper towels and something like Brawny. The difference is striking. If you feel like your current underpads are falling apart on you, consider getting these quilted packs
