Title: Great Value from a Solid Customer Service Company
Review: I have a John Deere garden tractor and it's well known they have a problem with the starting circuit. The best fix is to install a relay in the circuit. In the trouble shooting/discovery process you find that the original John Deere starters cost over 6x the cost of DB starters. The DB starters are the best alternative at a fraction of the cost and DB's customer service is top notch; they stand behind their products. The starters are not OEM quality but are a really good alternative. I have been a customer for 10 years.

Title: John Deere replacement starter
Review: Installed on a John Deere x340. It took about 45 minutes and was an exact fit. Works great. Fair price. I priced the replacement starter at the local JD dealer and it was over $300 and they didn’t have it in stock.

Title: didn't last long
Review: Installed in Graveley 160Z for non-commercial use. The starter lasted only 40.2 hours of run time in the mower. Failure occurred 35 days past the end of the one year warranty. Thats a very short life span on a starter!
