Hellwig lP-15 helper spring line fits the Mid-size and Small pick-up groups. They are designed to sit on top of the leaf springs at the rear of your truck and work in conjunction with the stock spring pack to effectively increase the level load rating of your truck up to the vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating.
COMPLETE KIT: Packaged complete with the same heavy duty powder coated and plated components, hardware and installation instructions as our heavy duty helper spring products, these kits are designed for the vehicles that need lighter assistance in carrying a load.
MADE IN THE USA: Manufactured with heat treated ASTM 5160 alloy spring steel in our California based facility, these units are rated up to 1,500 lb. level load carrying capacity.
EASY INSTALLATION: Simple bolt on design using common hand tools provide the installer ease of installation and the vehicle owner hassle free use.
SIMPLE TO ADJUST: Ideally suited for light towing and loads, these units are fully adjustable using the heavy duty U-bolts included in the kit using simple hand tools. If your tow and haul needs change, simply adjust the heavy duty U-bolts to suit the new load requirements. They can be adjusted independently for uneven side to side loads.

Title: Easy, cost effective fix
Review: My 99 Ford Explorer had about 4" of rear end sag. after installing these helper springs, it raised my Explorer and left me with only about 1" of rear end sag. It has also greatly improved the ride of my Ford.I was going to replace my entire rear suspension, but now that I have installed these springs I can rest easy and put the money into something more important.

Title: Work on Nissan Frontier
Review: I used these on a 07 Nissan Frontier. They worked perfectly and were a fraction of the cost of the kit made for my truck. Also I bought them in the used section on Amazon and had no problems, everything was there and looked like new.. My old worn springs used to sag a lot under load. These have greatly improved my ride quality under load and when not.

Title: Under an hour to install
Review: 2003 Astro cargo used as a service van. With rear Adrian Steel tradesmen box, rear end always sagged. After adding another 300lb air compressor, you can imagine the sag! My technician has reported that the van now rides better than it ever did after spring kit install

Title: Really help balance the load
Review: Since original purchase I have transferred these helper springs from truck to truck. Original fit was on a 2000 Tacoma 4X4 and currently installed in a 2006 Tacoma 4X4 Double cab. I tow a small travel trailer and these helper help correct the slight tail drag that I experience when the rig is loaded in tow. I plused these up with some Firestone Air Springs as well and now have zero drop when the trailer is attached. Good first step to solving drop problem. Very easy to install with hand tools.

Title: Wrong hardware included!
Review: Buyer beware..... the hardware that is included with these may or may not fit. I had to go to the hardware store to get the proper size nuts, bolts and washers, made it work, but would have been nice if all the included hardware was correct, it would of save me an hour or two of running around to the hardware store 🙁

Title: Fixes astro van rear sag
Review: This product easily bolted on my 2001 chevy astro van. Raised rear about 1 inch. Very noticeable ride improvement. I live in northern arizona 20 miles off pavement on rocky cattle trail. The off road ride improved 5 times better with these helper springs. I had bilsteins on all 4 corners for 2 years prior to installing these springs. I highly recommend this product.

Review: As a non-mechanic, I presumed that I was purchasing an entire leaf spring as the picture shows! Unfortunately, this product won't install when you don't have the necessary leaf spring in place!
