Title: A good product!
Review: I have been really hesitant to try another shampoo bar. Have tried all the big names with not so good results. But buying more product in more plastic, no go.I waited for a few weeks to post this review for a few reasons. My hair tends to 'rebound' into a total grease mess when I change products. And, for some reason, my shampoo bar and conditioner bar arrived a week apart.My hair did surprisingly well. No greasy rebound at all. Even the shampoo bar alone did just fine. Very happy with how my hair feels and it is very shiny. The shampoo bar lathers well and rinses cleanly.Two things: one reviewer mentioned only using the conditioner on the tips of the hair and I agree. That's all I really need. Using it all over the head gets to be a little heavy.And use a serrated knife or saw to cut it in half so it looks like a half moon or a capital D. You'll lose a little product in the cutting, but I like having only half in the shower and the half in a bag in the drawer. Don't use a straight edged blade as the product wants to splinter, but careful cutting with a serrated blade does just fine. Then, half a bar of conditioner and half a bar of shampoo fits easier on a soap dish and I really like how it fits in my hand. The curve fits into your palm and the flat edge is easier to use along your scalp line.Other reviews mention expense, and it feels expensive that all you're getting is this small disc, but it is going to last. I've used this for three weeks and the half I keep in the soap dish has barely shrunk. I just ordered another scent of shampoo, and an unscented conditioner bar, as it's unlikely Ill use them both at the same rate, and the unscented can carry over to whatever shampoo bar I'm currently using.The only downside I can think of is if you might be scent sensitive, that could be a problem. I keep the other pieces in a bag in a closed drawer and I can still smell it. The citrus scent is tangerine, and I like it, but it might be a little much/a trigger for some people.Updated: If I had smelled the sweet sandalwood on the shelf, I would not have bought it. I like the citrus, though. The sweet sandalwood is too powdery and vintage for me. Luckily had ordered an unscented conditioner bar since i will go through shampoo faster than conditioner. Good product and Ill use it up; would not order this scent again.

Title: Excellent shampoo bar
Review: I have been using earthling co for shampoo and conditioner bars for a few months now. Each shampoo bar lasts about 2 months and each conditioner bar lasts around 4 months. I shampoo and condition my hair everyday since I am prone to greasy hair.Both bars smell absolutely wonderful and leave my hair smelling lovely for a while after. The shampoo bar lathers really well, and I like to scrub my scalp with it for exfoliation.My hair hasnât felt better. Other products seem to only work for a little while, and by work I mean actually leave my hair feeling conditioned and silky. I have a combination type hair that is slightly wavy, with fine to thick strands, and very heavy. Earthling co bars leave my hair feeling clean and hydrated but also light and fluffy despite how thick it is. My hair is long, and Iâve been growing it out for some time. I havenât needed to get a trim because I donât have split ends and the ends are healthy.I make sure to leave the conditioner in for about 5 min. I alternate between a full condition up to my scalp and just the ends.All in all great product! The earthling co hair oil is also really good!

Title: Cuts through oily hair with one washing
Review: I color my hair mermaid style. I usually use professional grade stuff, but hate the cost and wastefulness, so have been trying others as my color is ready to be changed. I tried one other solid shampoo bar, my scalp did not like it. This one, I regret the scent I picked (mint, smells like umm, musty gmas house), so I am back for a different scent and review.I still have plenty of the bar left to use, so Iâll use it when I travel but when I say this cuts through greasy hair, it does. I usually only focus on my roots with the shampoo, so I can tell when Iâll need to do two washings. And this stuff is just great. It lathers SO well in your hands, I can also get a nice pass if I just wet and slide the bar where I want to lather that way.I switched to it with my last fresh coloring (I did go back to the professional stuff, but only because I had it). It does fade the color of my hair, but not badly. So Iâll prob just use this and do professional grade conditioner.My hair is also softer, and while not blow out volume, my hair looks and feels less weighed down. When it air drys.I am knocking one star for the conditioner. That I donât like, I do like it as a shaving cream though. And it makes your skin super soft. It makes my hair wayyyy too soft, a weird thing to say, but I donât need softer hair, I need more protection. I already have the baby fine hair. Mine was sold as combo pack so I just reviewed from my order link.
