Title: Perfect painting tool for seniors and others with any kind of hand tremor
Review: This was just what I needed for all my painting. I use it with oil, watercolor and gouache to keep my hand steady, draw straight horizon lines, help with perspective, and keep my grubby hands from resting on my artwork. I specifically wanted one that had an extension for bigger canvasses and being able to easily screw this together makes it so easy to take with me when I have a class, plein air, or travel. The leather end is high quality. I took this to college art class and showed my art teacher who did a demo for the class. Since its a class for seniors, it's perfect, because some of us have slightly unsteady hands. Everyone loved it!

Title: A must if you're a serious painter.
Review: My art teacher didn't tell me about this product and he should have. This is an absolute lifesaver when you're leaning over your easel, over a wet painting and trying to draw in details. I used the mahl stick every day I paint.

Title: OOPS! no threads?!
Review: I tried several times to connect the 2 pieces together. Finally, it dawned on me to check the inside of the top piece. Sure enough, there are no threads for the bottom piece to connect with. This is extremely disappointing because I have some days off NOW and I really wanted to get some painting done. Painting where a mahl stick would have come in very handy. I could just use the short piece, but I have need for a longer stick. Therefore, this product will not do the job I need. What's just as worse is I now have to go through the returning of this product and look elsewhere for another mahl stick. Which up to now there are not a lot of them out there. Needless to say this product has some other qualities BUT when this product comes with incomplete workmanship; it puts a damper on my positive feelings for this company and this product. My overall rating is based on the main fact that I won't be able to use it as a long stick; which is the main reason I bought it in the first place.

Review: Sooo disappointed! The entirety of the pole is dinged and scratched up. The bottom of the pole has no cap.The box and the product are two completely different representations. There is also pen markings along the cut line.
