This MET helmet takes on four areas of focus: Safety, Aerodynamics, Fit & Style.

Led by the insight of pros and the demands of cyclists, the design of the Manta MIPS draws on the natural geometry of its predecessor as a guide and developed with specific wind-tunnel testing at the Newton Laboratory in Milan, Italy. All these features are wrapped in an excellent example of MET aesthetic and contemporary design.

It is as brilliant as the original, but with sharper looks and cutting-edge performance.

Constant Cooling Airflow

Despite the Manta MIPS being primarily an aero helmet, it is also well ventilated.

The MET signature front NACA Vent works in synergy with the specially positioned exhaust vents to ensure a constant airflow through the helmet, without catching the wind and creating drag.

Originally developed by NACA, a precursor to NASA, the front inlet position of the NACA Vent allows significant & constant cooling airflow for the rider.

Enhanced Aerodynamics

This latest version of the Manta MIPS helmet is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to the new lower tube-shaped profile.

MET improved the aerodynamics by performing specific wind-tunnel testing at the Newton Laboratory in Milan, Italy.

Newton Laboratory is an independent industry testing & certification laboratory for helmets used by motorcyclists, skiers, cyclists & equestrians.
