Review: Information dated compared to other textbooks on subject, but provides concise relevant information! As a practicing LNC (still under tutorage of mentor) this book has exponentially advanced my growth and quality of work. Knowledge Iâve gained has added value to service provided to attornies I have worked with by assisting this new LNC produce quality case reviews and not waste a lot of billable hours performing assignment. There are many other authors on topic to choose from this one and one other would I ever recommend. I wish all you other RNs entering this field best of luck, the books Iâve read and most importantly my mentor have made me successful. As RNs we owe patients a duty, unfortunately one of those duties is reviewing when things go wrong, not always the RN, but it is inherent to our training, integrity of service provided. Doing whatâs right even when nobody is watching!

Title: Excellent, full of practical information directly related to consultant practice
Review: This is the first book I bought since considering doing legal nurse consulting. This author is ever-present among texts in the field, so I figured this would be a good intro to her work. I've found it to be loaded with practical, real-world tips, guidelines, and best practices. I have highlighted passages on almost every page that are directly relevant to a consultant's practice. Unlike some books that theorize, this one gives you real tools you can use and that will immediately make sense to almost any nurse.
