Title: Better than expected
Review: New hardtail build needed tires. Terrain it rocky, gravely with occasional snow, slush, mud. Couldn't find my go-to Continentals, so gave these a try. First, they measure a bit shy of the labeled 2.4 inches, and are not what you'd call high volume. Once I got past that, I was surprised by how well they grip on rock, loose over hardpack, and gravel. Fast rolling, but not a cross-country race tire by any stretch. Nice blend of speed, grip and durability for some tech, but maybe not an EWS stage
