Review: The Minelab Vanquish 440 Multi-Frequency Pinpointing Metal Detector is fantastic. This is my first metal detector, and it was a chore listening to hours of testimonial videos and reading reviews before making a final decision; however, it was worth the time and effort. I'm a beginner and this unit is easy to use both at home using the owner's manual and while away using nothing but memory. It was manufactured for the novice, while providing a detector capable of satisfying the needs of someone more skilled. The company has been in business for a number of years and is noted for manufacturing a highly quality product. The detector arrived quickly and came packaged very well. Based upon what I received, I highly recommend this product.

Review: Bought this as a birthday present for my wife. She is very happy with it! She is still a beginner, but this was an absolute upgrade from her first metal detector. Pinpoint works like a charm. Easy to assemble.

Title: Great for beach detecting
Review: We bought this for something extra to do on a trip we were taking to Florida. It's very easy to use. Basically point and click. It is definitely more accurate at finding large aluminum cans than smaller jewelry or coins. But I figure that's probably all metal detectors strictly do to the size of the objects

Review: Absolutely LOVE this detector! My 2nd picture I posted was my first day using this beast. This bad boy is a coin finder and I love it. It's pretty easy to learn, I watched a few YouTube videos on it, so basically, I'm a pro. Haha. I love all the different modes and how it has a "all metal" button. The only flaw I've found is how low and quiet the beep is for iron. Of course you don't typically spend time on garabge iron, buuut some of us like to dig everything! I love that it came with a water proof hat for it. It doesn't come with a manual which is bizarre, but it's easy to find online to print. I tried this one and the Nokta Simplex and I went with the Vanquish 440 easily. I definitely recommend! You better get to going or I'm going to be finding all the riches!!! 100/10!!

Title: Good Detector, Even For Beginners
Review: The only experience I had with metal detectors was with one from Harbor Freight, which turned out to be pretty useless. I chose this one after reading the Amazon reviews, and I have not been disappointed. Under a bridge crossing a river, we found buried pop cans, coins, and even an old Apple Watch. We found bottle caps, a metal toy car, and a butane lighter at the beach. All pretty much just leaving it at the factory settings, and not even reading the directions. Maybe that's why we haven't found a diamond ring or a pot of gold yet?

Title: Doesn't pick up gold
Review: I have 2 identical gold lockets. One I lost in the grass amd the other I still have. I can't even find the one I strategically placed in the grass with this thing. It picks up nothing.....barely registers the gold piece when it's right infront of it. Haven't found anything and I've tried for HOURS looking for this gold locket. Not worth my money or time.

Title: Just amazing
Review: After a long process of research I finally chose the MineLab and am not disappointed. It was far easier to get started than I thought it would. Just an easy installation and once the batteries had been installed I was ready to go. Seriously, just turn it on wait 5 seconds and I was ready to hunt for buried metal buried deep in the ground where I live. Now it has taken a bit to understand the best settings to omit the trash. I like to think of it as my duty to clean up every piece of foil and pull tabs buried in the ground. But this detector is at a level far above others at the same price. Do not take me wrong, I am still learning how to best set the machine up to find the valuable stuff and omit the rest. As well as what beep and volume I hear tells me to stop and dig or keep on going. This is an incredible detector you will not be disappointed.
