Review: You won’t be sorry if you purchase one of these sharpeners. They are built like a tank.Mine weighs exactly 5.0 oz. It worked so well for me restoring edges on my knives that I bought another on for my lady’s kitchen knives. The ceramic notch is great for restoring an edge that is still on the sharp side and with just a few light strokes. The carbide notch will put an edge on a very dull knife in a flash. Ease up on the pressure when using the carbide notch if you don’t need to strip a bunch of steel off, this thing gets it done. The tapered rod works like a charm on serrated blades. I’m very pleased with sharpener and the company. I have several of their knives and they are of superior quality, they actually put my BM knives to shame.The people at Off Grid really seem to care about the product and their customers.You can’t beat that in todays world. Thanks Amazon for carrying a quality American made product. Thank you Off Grid for making such great products at such a reasonable price. I’m a proud customer of yours as long as I’m able.
