The Orlimar Intercept irons are all about developing consistency. By being all the same length, lie, balance and weight as a 7-iron, there is no need to change your posture, stance or ball position so you only have one thought process for every swing with your irons and wedges. Game improvement features include enhanced perimeter weighting by focusing weight where it is needed for golfers to experience a more solid feel and with precision accuracy. FlexFace Technology in the #5 and 6-irons help boost distance and ensure proper distance gaps and trajectories throughout the set. Single length irons allow for a single swing plane regardless of club for more consistent results. Deep undercut cavity back irons provide exceptional perimeter weighting for forgiveness. Wide soles resist digging, make the clubs easy to hit from a wide range of lies. Stainless steel heads provide a great transfer of power from the club to the ball for maximum distance.Set configuration: 5-GW.
SINGLE LENGTH IRON SET – Simply your game as each Orlimar Intercept club features the same length, lie and head weight so all clubs feel the same which in turn allows for greater swing consistency from one swing to the next.
ADVANCED UNDERCUT CAVITY - Redistributes weight around towards the perimeter and rear of the clubhead to increase the MOI and promote superior accuracy.
FLEX FACE TECHNOLOGY - To help boost distance and ensure proper distance gaps and trajectories throughout the set, the #5 and 6 irons have an ultra-thin face that works like the face of a modern driver.
SET CONFIGURATION - Save strokes with this right-handed graphite-shafted 7-piece set: Includes precision cast stainless steel #5, 6, 7, 8, 9, PW, SW. Shaft: Orlimar 95 steel, Grip: Orlimar custom velvet.

Title: Orlimar Intercept Single Length Golf Irons
Review: If you are a typical golfer enjoying golf 6 to 8 times a month these irons are excellent!! If you are a pro probably not.

Title: Clubs shot well....
Review: The finish scratches and peels off after first round. Shouldn't affect clubs at all but still a little annoying hence the 4/5UPDATE: these clubs, if you commit to the single length idea are a great way to get into it. After almost a year I can say for sure shot dispersion went way down and consistency with distances is much better. My gripe from when I first got them stills stands as the graphite looking streak on them peels off pretty.easy after scratched. My one additional note is that Orlimar also offset the five iron's head too much which does make it swing different that the other clubs. Beyond that- this set is $$$

Title: Great clubs
Review: I wanted to make the switch to single length irons for a while now. The cobra are the way to go from everything I have read but wanted to make sure I was comfortable before I made the switch. These are great, the ball comes off the face crisp and I in fact am in no rush to upgrade to Cobra as I am hitting these very accurately and have consistent distance. These clubs are legit and for the price point you cannot beat it.

Title: Disappointment
Review: I was really pumped when I received these clubs. I was looking forward to using them. I normally hit my 7 iron pretty good and felt having all the same length might be fun. I was planning to go out to the course the following Wednesday, so I headed to the driving range on Sunday. I was hitting the 7 iron but not getting my normal distance, but concluded that they may just take getting used to. I started hitting the pitching wedge and was not twenty hits in when the head separated from the shaft. It broke off where the shaft enters the club head. I am not a big divot taker and I was hitting off the ground and not a mat so this should not have happened. After this encounter, I was afraid to use the clubs the following Wednesday. I left them at home. I was afraid to use them after that point. After experiencing the two clubs, I was dismayed. They certainly would not get my recommendation. I had hoped to enjoy these and maybe even buy a more expensive set of single length clubs for Christmas, not even considering that now.

Title: NOT FOR EVERYONE.
Review: 5 & 6 iron do not go very high. Distance is close. You MUST TRUST and swing as if your hitting a 7 iron for all clubs. Moving the ball around in tour stance is a disaster. TRUST IT or sell them.

Title: Orlimar Intercept One-Length: an economic entry to single-length golf
Review: These clubs have all the qualities of far more expensive sets, such as Cobra, Edel, Sterling, OneIron, et al. Manufactured in China (most golf clubs are), the quality and finish are excellent. (When I regrouped them--and you probably should--I discovered the shafts, although labeled "Orlimar," are actually Apollo 95 R/S shafts.) The design features a deep undercut cavity throughout the set and flex-face technology in the longer irons, making them forgiving. They lack the fitting options of the more expensive brands; that's part of what makes them so affordable. But, as Frank Thomas, the former technical director of the USGA, said in his book "Just Hit It," standard specs will be fine for over 80% of golfers. If you want to dip your toes into the single-length waters, you can't go wrong with Orlimar's Intercept One-Length irons.

Review: Having lengthened my own clubs to the same length and liking the way I hit them, I purchased the Orlimar set as they are a matched set to the same length as well as weight and lie. I was pleasantly surprised right away, the gap wedge to the seven iron I hit with great consistency right out of the box. They fly higher and I am at least ten yards longer and higher flighting than my old set. With a little practice I got the five and six iron going good as well but the lower flight took some getting used to. All in all I would recommend these clubs as you will eliminate the fat and thin shots that can occur with a standard set as you have the advantage of the same set up with each of these irons

Review: My order was for a 7 piece set being 5 iron to gap wedge. I received 1 x 7 iron. One club doesn't constitute a set!I can get the 7 piece set in Australia for $495 but so the $312 plus freight seemed like a good deal. To the contrary it was a sham and a complete waste of time.

Review: First time at the driving range, the clubs are hitting wonderfully, learning curve was quite small and didnât take long to getting used to a single swing for all clubs.Much easier and forgiving than my previous blade type clubs. Large sweet spot, longer distance and straighter shots. After playing my first game, noticed more consistent fairway landings and increase in distance. The biggest adaptability was the longer distance shots from the PW and GW.Great clubs and value for the price. Would definitely buy them again and sure glad that itâs helping my consistency.Second time at the driving range and 7 iron club head broke off. It's an obvious defect as the shaft broke inside the club head.

Review: I ordered a set of Orlimar single length golf clubs 5 - gap wedge, 7 clubs in total, I recieved one 7 iron. Contacted customer service and explained what happened, they said they will send another order next week and if is still incorrect they will remove the product due to improper description. I would rather have the full set than to remove the product, fingers crossed.
