Title: It's a real kayak
Review: I had an inflatable before buying this and the Oru is a huge upgrade. Its hull has chines, so you don't have to use a skeg to keep it tracking properly, which can be a problem in the shallow water I often paddle in. I'm usually paddling on rivers or on the Intracostal or other milder waters, so I'm not too concerned about waves, but it does well in moderate chop. I bought the inflatable bouys that Oru sells on their website to put into the bow and stern, which will keep the kayak afloat in case of disaster, but I haven't yet worried that I would capsize. It has plenty of room for my gear, and I find the seat very supportive, and no more or less comfortable than any other kayak seat I've used. If you are unable to sit with your torso at a right angle to your legs for any length of time you probably won't be comfortable in this kayak (or really any kayak without a raised seat).I am a petite 65 year-old woman and I have no trouble carrying it or setting it up. It takes me under 10 minutes to set up and about half that to fold it back up. It is pretty effortless and I find it much easier to put away than the inflatable. What I like best about this kayak is the freedom it gives me to take my kayak anywhere with little effort and no assistance.

Title: Practical, Nifty, and Worth Every Penny!
Review: First off, this Kayak is much easier and quicker to assemble and disassemble than I expected. And, despite it's overall lightness, it is extremely sturdy. It glides rather quickly through the water, and has a ton of storage room.Plus, everybody who sees it thinks it's the coolest innovation they've witnessed in the water. Add to that the fact that it fits perfectly in the trunk of a car with space to spare for a collapsible paddle (which I bought separately from Dick's Sporting Goods) and a PFD, and you're set to go!I can't think of any negatives to say, to be honest.

Title: What fun!
Review: My ORU Beach was so fun, I bought a second one for my husband or for taking a friend out with me. We travel full time in an Airstream trailer, so not a lot of room. Weâre in our 70âs and didnât want to be lifting one into the roof, but really wanted to be able to explore the lakes we visit. The ORU was the perfect solution. So far I feel like itâs very sturdy and steady in the water, besides the obvious space saver.

Title: Worst purchase I've ever made
Review: Despite "Durable" being the second word describing these boats at the time of writing, you will have an extremely difficult time finding any boats, inflatable or otherwise, with worse durability. Do no expect this product to last more than a few trips on even the calmest of water. Speaking of the Beach LT, this boat was highly uncomfortable and downright dangerous to take on the water. The product does not fold well as the creases are inconsistent. There is no return policy after testing the boat and the company does not honor their warranties. Mine sprung a leak at a major fold within the first month. It's incredibly cheap and low quality materials and construction mean that even transporting this product is enough to be nervous about.I will update if there is any conclusion to the horrible runaround with Oru's support, although reading reviews I am not optimistic that they will ever be interested in looking at my boat let alone helping with the issues I've run into despite it being barely a month old. There are numerous better options on the market for portable or light boats. Consider inflatable, nesting, or one of the other origami/folding boat options.

Title: Great Kayak, gets noticed
Review: Ez to assemble and is stable in the water. Be ready as it creates quite the conversation whenever I'm assembling or packing it up.Had a minor warranty issue that the team at Oru jumped on and are taking care of. They respond within a day or so which is really nice! When I'm ready to upgrade I'll be looking at an Oru kayak again.
