Title: Great exercise unit
Review: This exercise device really works. Well made. Easy to use. You can start at your strength level and keep adding more reps as you get stronger by using this item. I really liked it and bought a second one. I keep one in my bedroom and one down in my garage gym.

Title: A Decent Power Twister
Review: I bought the highest resistance version and it is barely hard enough for me but the biggest disappointment is the wrist straps. They are way to short to use if you have to grab the handles closest to the center which I have to. Those are the reasons why I knocked a star but otherwise, for the money, it is a pretty good item.

Title: Helpful piece of equipment
Review: I like using this exercise spring to work a few different parts of arms and chest than dumbbells do. It’s easy to do while watching TV.

Title: Safety Concern: Use the straps if the handle is twisting.
Review: I am still going to 5* the product because what happened is my own fault, but I wanted to let people know:The good: I really enjoy this product. I'm 40, and I haven't exercised for a long time. This thing was giving me a sweat just sitting in my chair using it while gaming/watching tv etc. I can feel and see my arm strength increasing, and I sleep better after using this for a good 30 minutes. This brings up the safety concern: It's 1 a.m. and I will have to visit the dentist in the morning. The concern: I never used the straps. I didn't see a reason to. I use it on and off for hours, so the idea of strapping in was just tedious and I had no problem with grip strength/control. This event occurred with the "medium" bar--I bought all 3. I noticed after a day that the grip was somehow began "twisting" when gripped a certain way in my right hand. No problem, I'd just adjust and keep going. It's my favorite resistance strength for now. However, ten minutes ago, the handle twisted in my hand, popped out, and slapped me right in the face, messing up at least one tooth. There's nothing for me to do now but sit here in pain until the morning, so I wanted to immediately come note the safety review. Use the straps, especially if you feel one of the grips twisting in your hand when you bend it.

Title: Weak, a little dangerous, but durable and usable.
Review: I got this after the hydraulic one I bought turned out to leak fluid until it no longer worked. I bought the strongest one, but it definitely doesn't offer 80-160 lbs of resistance, because I can easily curl it at the most choked-up grip position (max resistance) with one arm, which would mean I was curling 160 lbs, which I know I can't do one-armed even once, let alone multiple times with little effort. It can't just be that I got the medium-strength one by mistake, either, because I can't curl 110 lbs that easily, either. I can't even curl 80 lbs, the lowest this version is supposed to go, that easily. It feels like about 30-50 lbs resistance (or possibly less) depending on grip, which is lower than the 30-80 lbs claimed by the weakest version. Also, if you bend it farther than the angle shown in the pictures, which I thought might be what I was supposed to do to get the full resistance, it doesn't quite straighten out all the way until you reverse it and bend it back. You can't use the wrist straps with any grip but the farthest out, and instead of putting a hole or loop there so you can attach a longer lanyard, the straps are tucked inside the plastic grip and basically can't be replaced, so you either settle for the weakest resistance or risk smashing something or someone if your grip slips. Considering that the safety warnings say not to use it without the straps, which is probably good advice, that makes even claiming it has multiple levels of resistance kind of false advertising. I'll probably end up looping a second strap through the straps to lengthen them, but that really shouldn't be necessary. All that said, it's better than a hydraulic one that leaks everywhere and eventually stops working entirely, and I can use it at my desk without overloading my office chair that's only rated to 250 lbs, which is what would happen if I used actual weights.

Review: Great quality, the twister bar aka a torque bar is an amazing old school training tool. This really adds to chest, back and shoulder workouts. Solid build as I have used it 4 times a week for the last 6 months and still looks brand new.

Review: Saw a video about this Python Power Twister Bar on YouTube and I thought let me give it a try. I have to admit it is causing lots of pain all over my upper body which means I am building muscles. I do recommend it to anyone who wants something that does help and does not take any space.

Review: The Python Power Twister is a quality spring twister. If you do your reps properly, i.e. slowly squeeze on the concentric movement and pause for a couple of seconds when handles are touching, and very slowly fight the tension on the eccentric movement, this twister provides plenty of resistance. If you don't know how to use it and don't know basic resistance training principles, such as time under tension, and you're pounding out 20 reps with no pause, at the speed of light, you might want a heavier spring. The grip handles are several inches long which allows for more resistance as the hands are moved up the handles. Nice feature for sure. The unit is well built and not too noisy when using. This twister gives a nice pump and flush to your pecs. I use it as a finisher after my core chest exercises. Good job Core Prodigy! Brian M
