Title: Great sound, great looks, great price, great design.
Review: I was sad to have to replace a vintage solid-state Sherwood receiver, but have had my eye on this hybrid for a while and I am not disappointed. Everyone who sees it comments on how cool it looks and can’t believe how great it sounds. Definitely comparable to“high-end” and more expensive systems. Very well designed and easy to hook up. Awesome with my Pro-ject turntable along with bookshelf speakers and passive sub-woofer. A showpiece for the eyes and the ears.

Title: Clean Bass
Review: This little hybrid rocks! The base is solid, clear and punchy. Symbols are just a touch muddy, but that was from Bluetooth not the vinyl. It fits beautifully in this old wooden roll top desk that I found in the garbage. 1920 children’s roll top desk that I refinished. I digress; run get them before they’re gone. This is a nice amp with wonderful functionality. Comes with a little remote too. It has volume a mute button fast-forward buttons for something and input selectors. Nothing fancy, but it works. I selector love the glow of those amplifier tubes! Back to the 70s. Ciao

Title: Lovely sound, excellent quality, really nice amp.
Review: This amp has such a warm and relaxing sound. I use it at the office, and it runs all day flawlessly. Music that otherwise sounds tiring when listening in my car, sounds surprisingly inviting and nuanced when hearing it through this amp. It is especially good for low volume listening (I have it paired with small Wharfedale speakers and a sub). The feature-list is great for the price when you consider the phono input, subwoofer output and Bluetooth connectivity. You won't be disappointed.

Title: Grand sound stage
Review: Bought for the sole purpose of matching an affordable tube (hybrid, though) amp with the Martin Logan Electromotion ESL.One music streamed from Amazon Unlimited sums up the results: Moon Light on Spring Water. Multiple musical instruments (percussion drums, string, synth, gongs, chorus, etc.) filled the entire space between the speakers, from floor to ceiling. I WAS on the conductor's podium.Transparent, detailed, and ethereal sound was 7 min of nirvana. An excellent DAC, seamless BT connection, no noise, and no heat. Volume was never an issue. I do not use a remote or phono, so no comment.Lastly, it is beautifully built.

Title: Great amp for the price
Review: Looks: Has a classic touch, compliments my vintage turntable. Very well built for its price.Sound: I’m no audiophile but it surely is a step up from my entry level solid state amps which cost more than the HTA200. What impressed me the most was the wide soundstage and the added warmth without compromising detail especially on the highs. Channel separation is very present even in a small 10ftx10ft room. ADVICE: if using a turntable, preferably use a separate pre-amp, using the PHONO input, sound can be a little too warm and has low gain. So far so good!

Title: Great bang for the buck.
Review: OK, here is the deal with this little gem. I love the look and Youtube has never sounded better in my headphones. The FM tuner sounds OK, but that's just radio. It works really really well, and has a nice tube sound, but as many have said the bass is a little on the lose side and it more tight sounding, but I have not broken in the tubes as of yet, I might report back after 100 hours and see how it sounds then. Also one more thing it like others have said it would be nice to have the volume control with more control (it goes from soft to loud pretty fast) So If your having people over you might like it a little less loud, but not to soft sounding either. I see the company was asking about the volume control and I gave it a 4 star because of that. The remote control is very nice to have, it's pretty light weight but it does not have AA battery's in it (to give it much weight) So I think that's why people think it's cheap but it fells fine to me, and works great. Response is a little slow to turn up the volume, but still it's nice to have. This has a great price point and you get a lot for the money, a couple more input jacks for other gear would of been nice too. I fell Parts Express has put out a very nice product for someone looking for a more detailed or 3d sound stage with lots of warmth. Just a little more work and this could be a 5 star winner, it's so close.

Customers say

Customers appreciate the amplifier's sound quality, appearance, and value for money. They find it has a wide soundstage and warmth without being overly solid-state. The amp's style complements vintage turntables well. Many customers find it well-built for its price. Bluetooth connectivity and warmth are also appreciated. However, some customers have mixed opinions on performance and functionality.
