Title: Seems to be a solid performer.
Review: I have been looking for a backup machine for a while and decided to give the Apex a try. I primarily use an AT Pro, so there wasn't much of a learning curve getting started with the Apex. It is lightweight and very easy to use. So far, I have taken it out and used it twice with very positive results. Over the two-day period I used it I found 493 coins, a silver ring, a musket ball, two old and one restorable pocket knives, a few miscellaneous hatpins and badges, and a number of other misc. items of interest (see attached picture). My overall impression just based on its first time finds is, it is a keeper. Nothing I found was deeper than six inches, so I really didn't check its depth ability. I used it in zero-mode mostly and after a short while I got used to "seeing" what the targets most likely were based on tone and reading. The iron separation seems pretty good, most notably since I was able to pick out a coin next to a railroad spike and other trash items. When I messed with it in coin-mode, it does an excellent job at eliminating iron-related targets. I also used the multi-frequency setting on a variety of different targets, but I really didn't notice a difference from manually selecting a certain frequency. Overall I do highly recommend the Apex, especially for someone just getting into the hobby. It is lightweight, has some great features for its price range, and most importantly it is very capable of finding things.

Title: Great little rig
Review: Nice detector, and works extremely well. I swap it out between my Max from time to time, and it seems as though it is almost equal in most every important way. If you're looking to save a couple of bucks and still want a great detector, go for this one!

Review: I have only used it one time and had a blast. I recovered lost arrow and a bunch of metallic treasures such as polts, bullets,bottle caps and more misc.stuff. I wish it came with the head phones for the price paid

Title: Great metal detector
Review: I am new to metal detecting, and I feel like this one was very easy to learn. I didn’t want a cheap one but I didn’t want to spend $700 on something I may or may not enjoy. I think this is perfect for beginners and it is addicting. I searched my old backyard and I found my dogs dog tag from 20 years ago about 5 inches under the dirt. It brought back good memories. I did a lot of research and I landed on Garrett. My next purchase will be a Garrett pinpointer... I highly recommend.

Title: Garrett quality
Review: Been out of the detecting for over 20 years. I went with this based on Garrett's reputation and new technology. I like the compact head unit.Possible improvements? GPS, memory card. Add software version to menu as it does not stay on the screen long. (Make it with similar featurs as a GPS mapping fish finder. Mapping for pinpointing locations, tracking to take to the house and study. This will cost but suspect many will jump on the features for a grand or two or three.

Title: Good value for the price
Review: The Apex has all the features as advertised. The website guidance is superb. I took notes, because that is me, but the display is self-evident. It clearly saves time digging up bottle caps, etc. Big picnics have lots of lost items, but sloppy people also drop litter. This detector found money (identified on display), metal pipes,(identified on display). On and on. Glad I have it.

Review: vu le prix le produit est surestimé.malgré une étude attentive sur son utilisation,je suis très déçu par cet appareil qui a du mal à reconnaitre les matériaux demandés.J'espère,pour le fabricant que celui que j'ai reçu a un problème car j'ai voulu mettre le prix (500 euros) pour être tranquille et je me suis bien trompé.je pense qu'il y a moins cher pour un meilleur résultat.
